hmm, never taught a guy but I have taken workshops taught by men and taken classes with guys and quite frankly they're just another body in the room, I'm too busy trying to follow what is being taught. But plenty of women do seem to get all weird ...

sniffle - it's nearly over. 20 shows have come and gone and we only have one more show on Friday. A touch of melancholy is creeping in as we all have to get back to the day to day of our lives.

The band really do seem to have appreciated what people have done and I know we feel special to have been there. Never noticed it before. I was working my shoulder shimmies whilst wearing a spaghetti strap top and checking my form (we all do it) and omg my traps look huge! LOL As my shoulder rolls or pushes forward the trap by my neck pops up like a monster. I plan to counter this in future by doing Nagwa Fouad style boob shimmies or keeping my arms lower so my hulk like muscle doesn't scare the kids :-D

About a month ago a local teacher asked if I would like to dance at a charity hafla in newcastle (tonight) and being the performance whore I feel I'm becoming I said yes. (it's good experience I keep telling myself). Now the nerves have been kicking for about 10 days and I'm feeling it now.
