couldn't help but miss the peace of the desert in mexico. the beautiful surroundings, music, people. home sick for a temporary home that cannot really be recreated. so thankful for the experience. all the connections made seem to be for a reason. so much to learn from all these amazing new people. i'm happy. looking forward to the future.

Current mood: frustrated need a job SO bad. getting down to the wire, especially w/ the cost of books for school, rent, bills, LIFE. thanks to friends for feeding me. i think cereal and sushi are the key to my heart. in my life, much different than many of the past. reveling in such memories, whilst making new ones. sweet sentiments on all grounds. time away from the city has made it so warm to come home to. a few nights this weekend were the necessary hard slap in the face that told me, "you're alive dammit! life is fucking amazing and don't you ever dare forget it." stark awakenings of things i've known too long, but perpetually need reminding of.

used to be so scared i would fall too hard into this unknown and never regather the life that i had clung to with every ounce, every dripping piece of interest. that's gone now. my imagination and the pain of watching people stay the same makes me realize that in fact most of it does in the long run. i'm happy, smoked way to many cigarettes on a new york-esque fire escape over the marina, with irina way to high above the ground, with little holding us up. beautiful night. little need to ...

i had a big crush on summer for a while (i still do shhhh....).
i think it was the attitude. a superlative knack for sarcasm and a sharp ass wit mixed with the girl next door who broke into the neighbors house. Memories are such sentiment.... this girl rocks her world with junglista style. we go way back, and i'm happy to say we're still goin strong in the 2005. always down for an adventure, a party, or a rooftop to shout from, summer is the kinda girl that will keep you guessing for years on end.
i'm glad to know her, glad to be a part of her female posse, and if anyone has a problem with her i'll be the first to say, "Bring it!"
