about me
What my cousin Diana had to say about me: "I have always thought you looked like someone from the 50s. You just have those kind of features about your face and body. Timeless lady! Very beautiful." I'm living in Washington State now, exploring, hiking, chillin, livin up the fact I'm not in NYC anymore woot! I'm a trombonist with a passion for music since I was 2. I'll be playing my trombone in a band someday. I love the arts and any means of self-expression. Support you local musicians! I feel the arts are a great way of expressing creativity and feelings/emotions one can feel and the arts must remain apart of child upbringing so don't cut the arts from education! I love to dance....latin style. I am vegan. I love the vegan food options in Seattle. I don't like guns. I love buddhism and other asian philosophies. I love having philosphical conversation. I like reading a good book and writing/sharing poetry. I love positiveness and try to be postive and smile as much as I can because it really does make a difference in how you feel and how others feel as well. I am empathetic and compassionate. I am pretty eclectic, genuine, straightfoward, honest and am good/kind hearted. I believe that we can change our ways to make our lives and the lives of others more sustainable esp. for future generations. I love to get out into nature as much as possible to reconnect myself. I love to travel because I grow and expand my inner self every time I do. I've been to Switzerland, England, Belgium, France and Australia. I miss Australia a lot and want to go back, I misss those vibes. I love learning about other cultures and indulging in their ways and customs. I think it is important that we incorporate indigenous wisdom into the way society works to help solve some problems we face today. We need to show more respect for indigenous people. I believe that all education systems need to change to be more experiential and field-based. I suport alternative education. We need to continue integration in our schools to rid of racial biases. I think people need to show others more respect and love. We need to educate all children. I feel there needs to be more youth partnerships that exist to build stronger ties in communities. I feel people need to take more time out for themselves, take back your time! Just breathe and reconnect to your core. I love glass art, it is so facinating, maybe I will gain some glassblowing skills someday. I want to learn to make pottery. I love to eat food, snack on tomatoes, pickles and avocadoes and eat seaweed salad. I love listening to music. Sometimes it really brings me back from that clogged feeling we get after a few days of time wasting and the grey vacuum our society has caused. I like doing palates and yoga. It makes me feel so refreshed and energized. I love watching the stars on a clear night. I love animals, I have 2 poodles. When I retire I will probably open an animal sactuary in the mountains (I love the mountains and I want to settle up in some range somewhere). I love to go hiking and any other outdoors activity like kayaking. I like to drink chai. I support/purchase local food and organics products. I want to cook more, I love to bake. I am non-conformist. I'm open minded. I am low maintenance, I stopped wearing makeup in March since I realized it has no purpose but hides who your really are and who you are, ourselves as natural, is beautiful. I love jade. I love rocks. I like collecting rock and shells. I like sunshine and rolling hills, and mountains. I love sunrises and sunsets. I like laying underneath passing clouds. I love thunderstorms and watching the rain. There is so much beauty in this world, I love beautiful things. I want to leave small "footprints" on this planet (ask me if you don't understand what that means). I believe in Ghandi's quote "Be the change you wish to see in the world. " I am going to leave a legacy on this earth.

I will share an article that relates to the last two lines above.
