about me
O.K. Look. Here's the deal. I am a 57 year old, polyamorous male. I am fairly good looking and people are shocked when they find out I am older than 45. Most people refer to me as brilliant, but I think they are full of shit and I will only cop to being of above-average intelligence. I am a runner, in excellent shape, and I like almost all outdoor activities. I want to get back into scuba diving (I am open-water certified by both NAUI and PADI and I would like to get my rescue diver next. I also want to start doing some ocean kayaking. All of my kayaking to date has been in a white-water kayak. I am recently divorced (separated really, but the divorce should be final within a month) and looking to meet like-minded (read sensual and sex-positive). I have a 7 year old daughter who truly is brilliant and is the light of my life. She lives with her mother, but spends alternating weekends with me.

Palm Springs of Washington
(blog entry)
The snow has finally melted off of the sign by the freeway, which pronounces Yakima to be The Palm Springs of Washington.
I'm not certain what the significance of this is, but it strikes me as worthy of note.

"Instant comrades"
Stumbled into the Owl 'N Thistle last night and was welcomed with open arms by patrons, bartenders, band and bouncers. Feel like I finally found my "local pub." Can't recommend this place highly enough.

Mad dash to NYC to catch CREAM at MSG courtesy of my 'bro's munificence. What a great show. Jack Bruce and Ginger Baker were awesome. And what can you say. "Clapton is God."
Why would anyone be interested?

Heading back to Yakima for another week of fighting the good fight. Well, that and taking the red-eye to NYC to see Cream at MSG.

"Real Mexican family cuisine"
Fantastic find. Best authentic Mexican food I have found outside of Silver City, New Mexico.
