In high school I enjoyed studying as many different foreign languanges as I could including some German, Russian, French and Spanish. Foreign cultures really intrigued me and even though I was raised by my parents to believe in patriotism, the idea could never root itself very deeply in my heart. I was accepted by the Naval Academy right out of highschool and learned a great deal about the corruption and hidden agendas of the American Military Industrial Complex from a Captain in the US Navy who taught my History classes. At that time in my life, the dissillusion of my "American values" seemed insignificant in comparison to my love for Physics. I expected it to answer all my questions about how things worked. But when I transfered to Seattle's UW School of Physics after my second year in the Navy, all this soon changed. I discovered from my Quantum Mechanics professor the mystery concerning the effect of the observer on what is perceived and applied this finding in the realm of transcendental meditation. This phenomenon, which is demonstrated in the hypothetical situation descibed by the story of Schrodinger's cat, is a factor that is found in every discipline, including philosophy, theatre, linguistics, anthropology, and ulimately psychology too. With the help of an explosive expansion in awareness supplemented by my extra curricular activities, I studied each of these subjects over the course of several years of undergraduate work. My studies opened me up to many fascinating ideas and cross-disciplines in the realm of the occult and especially transcendental magick. After college, I began training as a Trancendental Magician and joined the OTO, a magickal mystical order of knight monks of Thelema (Greek word for "will"). I became adept with the the tools of the modern artist and spent several years performing with a fire circus, as a solo performer and also in coordination with several other "fire" troops. These days I earn my living juggling several talents that I really enjoy sharing with my community. Currently I'm a freelance graphic artist for UCLA, a massage practitioner in the evenings, and a real estate agent on my lunch hour and weekends. I also have many entertaining hobbies and other gifts to share with my community. I read tarot cards and I-Ching as well as facilitate energetic healing work using nano-technology and or crystal therapy. A few times each year I also produce dramatic ritual events as fundraisers for the OTO. These magickal invocations are like old greek theater performances patterned after Aleister Crowley's adaptation of the Rites of Eleusis. I'm constantly challenging myself to learn and grow and look forward to meeting new friends with similar interests.
