rustic red a terra cotta brick glaring up at me, from my crisp white sheet, like dawn you offer a new day, a moment worth holding my breath for, I wear my burdon like a badge of honor, a shift in the breeze of my life, my body inhales a cool wind, casual like monday morning, or a sunday drive in the country, you wax and wane like moonlight, your voice my breath, your presence a gift that I am forever unwrapping.
