I'm a fantasy artist, a gypsy at heart, a baker in my free time, and a bit of an eccentric. But that's what makes me fun. I am a no-drama sort of person, sometimes it finds me but I try to avoid it if I can. I'd much rather be friends than be enemies with anyone, not because I am afraid of my enemies, but because it is so much easier to just go with the flow. ;) I write a lot, I have a lot of ideas, and no time to get them all put on paper. *sigh!* I like crafty things, too. I also dig video games, from old school Nintendo to PS3. I have a sharp tongue and the typical short Irish temper. My mother's family is Irish, and my father's is Jewish, so that makes me a blue-eyed fake Jew (or a celt with a jewfro). I am also a goofball.. you might have figured that out already.

Well the studio is mostly finished, just some trim needs to go up and the outside needs to be fixed up a bit. But I've been working out there for a couple of weeks now and I love it. I have finished some watercolor paintings and I am close to finishing a new digital painting. The only problem is there is no internet access out there, so I am rarely ever online now since I am working around 16 hours a day, as is the norm for me in the summer. I am beat. I have been beat for a few hours but had to do some more things, so I am just now crawling into bed. Yesterday, once the damned car race was over, everybody got to work. I finished painting, though I need to touch it up some more, the guys fixed up all the outlets, patched the concrete, finished hanging the light fixtures and put down the carpeting. I felt a little lame since all I did was get things ready to move out there. Today I woke up and we moved the furniture out there...

This spring brought me some new neighbors in the form of ravens. Lots of ravens. I've got ravens flying into my windows out by the studio, and they appear to be living in the group of trees just behind it. Luckily we've had no casualties, just a few bumps and "oops" squeaks while they flap away to the roof, where I've noticed several nests. Some are abandoned from the little birds but they seem to all have been taken over by ravens. They spend most of the afternoon caw-cawing at each oth...

Well I am kind of settled.. sorta. Started painting again but I've been helping my grandpa out with odd construction jobs to kind of earn my keep. ;) There's still boxes everywhere but it's starting to look more like my room. It'll be better once the studio is finished, I'll be able to move some of the clutter out there.
