about me
girl extraordinaire... most of the time i keep to myself, i wonder about the nature of things frequently and i like quiet, except when i like noisy. i frequently contradict myself. i like books. a lot. Almodovar films always make me melancholy, but i'm kinda like that.

when synapses fire...

I am happy to join with you today in what will go down in history as the greatest demonstration for freedom in the history of our nation.

Five score years ago, a great American, in whose symbolic shadow we stand today, signed the Emancipation Proclamation. This momentous decree came as a great beacon light of hope to millions of Negro slaves who had been seared in the flames of withering injustice. It came as a joyous daybreak to end the long night of their captivity.

But one hundred ye... read more

how we met and our journey together

April 11, 2009
Kimberly is Awesome. And smart. And talented. And cute. Just an all around great lady to know and talk to.
January 9, 2007
I remember the day Kimberley moved her tent next to ours at BM2006. My initial feeling was invasion of personal space, but after my first conversation with her, I just wanted to put my arms around her and welcome her to the family. She is such an open, sharing and caring individual, I could not help but like her immediately. I feel very lucky that she has come to be one of my friends.

To see her dance is to see Life.
To be embraced by her smile is to feel Life.
To be in her presence is Life.
Kimberly Rocks on so many levels.
Even though she has successfully resisted my advances with the sharpest repartee and aecerbic wit that it has ever been my pleasure to be humbeled by, I can't help but come back for more.
I am Honored to call this amazing Woman a friend!

I've heard the phrase "old soul" used to describe Kimberley, and I tend to think it's appropriate. She's got an uncanny ability to sense things in and about other people, kinda like a Spidey Sense. One could even question whether she's even aware of this gift. Unlike others of this talent I've met in the past, she blindly follows and shares from it rather than hoarding to herself for selfish gain or manipulation.

A soft touch, a tender squeeze, or a subtle affirmation - when most needed in the life of friend or even a stranger - are but a few of the manifestations of this lovely and inspired creature of beauty. Find yourself in her particular orbit and you will be blessed.
