blah, blah, blog.....
Padme was right...
Tue, May 13, 2008 - 5:40 AMThen my scalp started so I looked like I had a fierce case of dandruff for a few days. I thought it was over!
Til yesterday. Now my arms are shedding...... and again, no amount of lotion or loofah-ing seems to make a difference. *sigh* My co-workers are going to have to contend with the floating trail of arm dandruff in my wake as I walk by today........Sorry!!
(am I sharing too much.....??) ; - )~

ok, I'll tell you my story now of MY worst sun burn.
I was in Peru, nearly 2 years ago (visiting family) we got lost at sea on a trip in the fog trying to see these unique penguins that live on the coast near Pisco. We got lost (and it was scary), it was misty and foggy, all our sun screen must have come off at this point. We finally find our way back to shore (nearly 3 hrs later, no joke) and my cousins are like "we aren't paying for this! let's get our money back.!" So, of course my native cousins go and say we didn't see any penguins and we got lost at see, whatcha gunna do for us? So they give us a Desert (one of the few desert coasts in the world) Doon Buggy for free! (i have one pic in my profile) We race through, all 8 of us total, go to the coast, see seals, feel free!!! then had the BEST seafood on the water while this guy played reggae on his guitar and drummed all by himself...warm soothing day. This was one of the best days of the trip...maybe my whole life. Then we go back to our hotel and jump in the pool! it's hot!! my cousin trips out since she thought she lost her wedding ring, but she didn't and then finds it in the bottom of the pool. The next day we can all barely walk!!!! ALL of us had the worst sun burn we had ever had!!!! We then spend 12 hrs on a bus south to Arequipa. Trying to sleep on the windy ass scary roads and watching godzilla in spanish. I then wake up the next day and I'm a klingon (star trek) I had such a bad sun burn that my whole face swelled up, my eyes looked 4X smaller then they were....I couldn't stand being in the sun, and people were REALLY staring at me now... I ended up having to get an anti-histamine. The next 4 days of the trip were the hardest, since I started getting intestinal issues, but that's another story :-) lemme just say your lucky it's not worse!! lol. xox |

Good lord.
What a horrible twist to what would otherwise been a great trip!!
Feeling better about my annoying but really insignificant skin-shedding now...! = - ] |

The font of wisdom speaks again...
LOL... I hear you doll! The floor under my desk looked like I'd had my own private snow storm for about a week.
If it's a option, try hitting a hot tub, hot bath, or a steam sauna, then scrubbing. That's what helped me finally finish up. |
