An energetic performer and instructor, Souzana is a founding member of Fairbanks, Alaska's premier Middle Eastern dance troupe, Tundra Caravan. Souzana offers weekly Level I, II, and III classes as well as a introductory level class at University of Alaska Fairbanks (UAF). In 2006, Souzana was invited to teach Mid-Eastern dance to Teens and Adults each summer as a guest artist at the prestigious Fairbanks Summer Arts Festival. In addition to teaching Middle Eastern dance, Souzana teaches classes at Dance Arts Academy in Tap, Ballet, Hip Hop, and Musical Theater. In 1998, Souzana began studying at Kismet in Salt Lake City under the direction of Yasamina. Souzana has taken workshops and/or has studied intently with Yasamina (SLC, UT), Jason Roque (SLC, UT) Fat Chance Belly Dance (San Fran, CA), Isis (SLC, UT), Tirza (SLC, UT), Amaya (NM), Morocco (NY), Margo Abdou O'Dell (Minn, MN), Cassandra (Minn, MN), Aziza (Pacific NW & Montreal, Canada), Zahra Zuhair (LA, CA), Mesmera (LA, CA), Suzanna Del Vecchio (CO), Delilah (Seattle WA), Mish Mish (Seattle WA), Hadia (Montreal, Canada), Saqra (WA), Viktoriya (Provo UT), Dondi (San Diego CA), Titanya (San Diego CA), Judeen (Santa Ynez), & Sausan (CA).
