It has been quite a while since I posted. Little did I know what would happen after the last post. My apartment did survive but my lease did not. I was evicted six weeks after the storm by an evil landlord that wanted to double the rent. My job did float away for about nine months. I evacuated to Baton Rouge but after two weeks in a house with 7 people, 7 animals and half of New Orleans I was done with it. My friend and I headed to Colorado to work temporarily. So after spending 100's or probably 1000's of dollars on liquor in this fine city I've decided to go on a month long detox. I find myself not wanting to even go out and be social as that's what made going out fun. By no means was I addicted....but it helped loosen me up a bit. I'm not having any withdrawls as it's only liquor....not water or food. It's just strange to be looking at my life from the other side. "Oh, an art gallery opening you say? Free wine?
