Spacegrl and I actually met over a pile of dismembered pumpkin seeds and goop, thankfully, and not over the night My Pants Grew A Vagina. See, I'd been at Decom, my pants fell apart, and CERTAIN FRIENDS said "It's not a problem! Grin and bear it!"

Anyways, I'm in a corner, snuggling with my pals Rebecca and Samwise, and this really cute chick on the opposite side of Samwise is there, and I want to introduce myself. In getting up, I forget my pants are faulty, and...you all know the drill.

Thankfully, Spacegrl says "she didn't see anything".

Actually, I don't know if that's a dig on me, now that I think about it.

But I don't care. You can call me all the names in the book (the "fucker" one the other day on the phone with Andrea was frigging classic) and you won't get rid of me.

Spacegrl is such a font of peaceful energy and snuggliness. I am blessed to know her. It's the truth.

I am wasting too much time writing. Let's cuddle instead.

This is one phenomenal woman. You might not see it at first, because she's modest. I don't think she fully "gets" the degree of her special sparklyness. Not yet, anyway.

I first met Jana at her inaugural cuddle party in September of '07. Gradually, I discovered that this is a woman I can talk to about *anything*. No matter how deep the topic. And yet, she totally knows how to throw her head back and indulge in this hearty roar of laughter. In fact, laughter is frequent around Spacegrl. Recently we were standing together in a somewhat solemn ceremony in which we were asked to set our intent for the evening. I caught her eye and I knew, dammit, I knew what she was thinking. Perhaps not precisely; but pretty close. We both cracked up as I whispered "Naughty girl!" and then the moderator said, "Spacegrl, change your intent!"

She and I are so alike. We have shared, and do share, so many of the same quirks and struggles. (So if you don't like me, you might not like her, either! But I can't imagine not liking her.) We have uproaring fun (is that a word?) and yet when I've been hurting, she's always been among the first to reach out a hand. Jana, you totally rock. I love you!

Spacegrl is wonderful! I have been among the fortunate ones to have her work her massage magic on me, and all I can say is that she is AMAZING! All that on top of being sweet and bubbly and beautiful to boot!
