a message from Mana Fest

Aloha friends!

Hope everybody is enjoying their holidays! We certainly are!

Because of the amount of emails we've been getting and rumours that have been spreading, we wanted to let you know that we are not putting together a New Years event this year. We're taking a year off to prepare for our wedding in February. Yes, we fell in love and got engaged putting together our festivals. You might even say that YOU were a part of the whole mix! So thank you!

We wish you the best, and hope you have a wonderful New Years Eve, whatever you choose to do.

Be safe and kick ass in 2007! (And if you know of anything cool going on for New Years this year, be a pal and let us know!)

aloha from the mainland!

hey everyone. joe and i are currently in his hometown of madison, wisconsin.
our time here with his family has been really great...meeting each other's families is a trip.

our next step on this trip will involve a 3 day trip on the amtrak through the northwest. (to seattle).

i could NOT be more excited. i've never done such a long stretch on the train before.

our plans are to return to maui on feb 15th in time for some mana collective action!

our limits with words will never do justice to our night in kula this past weekend.

maui's tribes converged high atop haleakala and we brought the collective consciousness upward and outward. expansion and progression. growth and grateful praise through dance, song, and most of all...our mana. everyone came to the table ready to share it, and all together we gave a wonderful gift to pele and to the magnetic energy of this island.

i took a bubble bath in coconut today. and reflected on all of the gifts you all have. mahalo to the ohana.

belly dancers. fire dancers. aerial acrobats. reviving waterfalls. sacred ceremony. warmth from within. lots of love outwards and inwards...these are all blessings i KNOW will be present with us on new years.
