well for those who cant go i feel ya alot of people arnt going to burningman this year due to money and gas and jobs that arnt there anymore oh yes let us not forget all the forclosures. i also see alot of tickets forsale this week at low low prices and some people even losing money on them that sucks that is not my idea of a american dream. so i ask how many are not going because of these things and what is your american dream. my i got already twice as a matter of fact i learned how to walk two times in my life was given a gift of life twice how lucky am i.....................................d ps: thanks to my mom who is 79 and is my biggest supporter who is always there no matter what i never say i love you enough. i love you mom your son

The Crystal Mine gets its name from the crystals that were mined here. During World War II crystals were needed in abundance for use in two-way radios. Dynamite was used to blast the hillside and bring the crystals to the surface. It is still possible to find nice whole crystals in the blast remnants; though it takes some work. Digging and collecting is allowed. You are allowed to remove one five-pound bucket of crystals per week. well i spent the day digging and walking and the power of the world led me to this wonderous Crystal now thats real energy..........................d ps getting there was a interesting journey of roads with no signs and meeting up with a old prospector richard who was our wonderful guide

A bear blamed for a string of home break-ins at Lake Tahoe was fatally shot after confronting an officer late Friday night. El Dorado County sheriff's Sgt. Don Atkinson says a deputy shot the 350- to 400-pound male black bear as the animal exited a home and moved toward him. The bear died immediately. The deputy, whose name wasn't released, initially responded Friday night to a residential burglar alarm set off by the bear in the same area on Tahoe's west shore. this is sad this bear would visit my yard all the time and we live in there home also the officer that shot him lives behind me bears are always around here everyday and night i just cant beleave the bear got the death penalty for trying to feed himself so sad. i pray for the bears farewell my friend.................................................d

The village was created in 2001 to offer a relatively quiet area for people who do not want to camp way out in the boonies. Keep in mind that "relative" is the key word. We are still located in the heart of the city, usually only a couple blocks from Center Camp. well getting ready and in shape for burningman it will be a different type of burningman for me THE REAL AMERICAN DREAM. just two months ago i suffered a injury lost my left foot and shazzzam im riding my bike walking and living. well i was living and loving while i didnt walk and it goes to show you life isnt that bad even though at points in your life you think it is you just have to beleave in yourself and get up and walk again. i do all i do to show others you can do it and most of you have two feet to do it with so come people smile today life is good. so come and ride the bike of life with me and smile and laugh because life is short so lets live..............................................d thanks again for all your support for with out it my bike might not have stayed up

i was thinking today of all the people i met durning this loss of a limb and was thinking of all the kindness i have been given from people i didnt even know. even at stores people went out of there way to help anyway they could and some of these same people would never notice i was there when i had two feet go figure. does it take a loss of a limb to get noticed i wonder why these people couldnt be just as nice to people with two feet all the time. i just feel for alot of people its hard to be nice all the time and caring dammit. again im ranting about the world and all thats in it. injoy the pic im smiling at you all

i wheeled myself down to the lake today the sun came out after a week of thunder storms and snow and thought is was summer. i was reflecking on my life the past years after losing my left foot last month and was telling myself dam i have done so much and been so many places met so manyy people and lived. then i said to myself and what now just what do i do now now well the answer was easy i need to hike to the bottom of the grand canyon and live some more dammit cuz i aint done yet and nothing will change i will be just a lil more carfull where i step is all. heres a pic i took today for all of you...........................................d

now that i have been in a wheel chair for a few week and soon to be getting my new foot in three weeks yahoo i will walk and run and hike again and be free of the wheels and cruches and walkers jeeezzzz my life. i must say this after being in a wheel chair i must say how important all the wheelchair access is and so very important to people that are in one eveyday. i relized how hard it is to get around and move with out access your stuck its even a major chore to use the bathroom if some lame ass is useing the whellchair stall that guy used to be me. i swear now and here i will never use the wheelchair stall again when i walk again i promise. i will also help where i can to gain more access for fun stuff here in lake tahoe. its like a two wheeled prison of sorts somtimes. so heres some words about people who make the access happen they need help and there lame they have no idea how it works they need to be strapped in a wheelchair for a month and see how they like the ramps and aceess they design dammit. Who is it that designs the so-called wheelchair access areas in public buildings? From my experience, I'd say nobody in a wheelchair, or at least nobody in a wheelchair with no leg or arm........................................................... the d

i must say after suffering this injury and loosing my left foot and staying in the hospital for some length of time has made me see the real health care problem in this country and seen the many people who were turned away for no insurance. i was seeing people coming in for help and if they no had no insurance and wasnt a real emergancy they were turned away sad i thought very sad. i see somthing has to be done about this seeing it first hand and i will now work on this some how. well im feeling better and healing well and feeling great. i must say i got some of the best health care i ever have in my life and i thank all the doctors and sugeons and the nurses who took great care of me. i will be running in a few months again and walking in the woods and you will see my come back with great pictures of my come back. i just want to say i love you all.............................................................................the d
