I can be nothing but greatful for every minute spent with this mad chap. The best thing about sharing his proximity is that I no longer feel like the only one in the room who might doubt things -like gravity. Whereas he would never chide me for my latent fear of the tooth fairy. I hope. -She can get into any house, you know.

Spiedr has such a vast knowledge base that I don't know how it doesn't leak out of his ears, down his neck, and onto the floor. Perhaps it does and he knows just the spell to keep it all clean and tidy. Or maybe he keeps it all in vile around his neck, or in the mountains of books in his lair, or buried deep in the fur of Soloman.

The world walks faster, talks faster, eats faster and we generally behaves in as if we were squirrels frantically gathering our nuts to shelter them from the rain. Not much to say. Do my will, harm none. That sorta thing. 80 years, God willing, is not a heck of a long time so I'm kinda trying to pack as much as I can in before I'm worm food. I'd like to think I could take a ride in to space in my later years, when is cheap enough to do on a weekend. Fly around the earth at 20 times the speed of sound, legs floating behind me, nose pressed agaist a porthole muttering. A man has to have goals.
