My Testimonials

Brilliant of spirit, Brilliant of intellect, Brilliant of love. Spiral leaves a trail of magical bread crumbs behind him as he wanders through life - not perhaps so he can trace his path, but so those that follow can find their way and be nourished along their journey. Anytime you need a dose of hope, understanding, or unconditional affection, Spiral will take care of you without a second thought.

One of the most amazing, careing, and cuddliest people I know. My cuddle buddy! Spiral is such an important person in my life, helping me to see my true self, and explore and find importance in things I might have brushed aside as no big deal. I can only hope to do the same for him. I feel so lucky to have met him and i look forward to many more wonderful conversations, and experiences.

about me
I spend most time trying to reconsile the feeling of "I am" with the knowledge that self is an illusion. I also spend a great deal of time acknowledging that the illusion is the reality. The little me, the cell in the tip of a giant finger, stands in awe at the organism it is part of. My cats understand this and look at me like "I can't believe you don't get this yet. Just lay down and let us purr and cuddle and pet each other." Yea, cat's are the enlightened masters returned for a bonus round. I can only hope that in my next few lives I will get a chance to explore that form. :)

Reasons are as follows.

Our system is based on representation. Representatives have authorization from a mandate from the masses to execute policy on their behalf because the vote represents the will of the people for this to be so.
Disregarding all smaller discouraging details, such as voting often causes oversimplification of issues and false dichotomies, vote counts are not secure.
If vote counts are not secure, then we cannot assertain the true will of the people and there can be n... read more

I never could understand why people were so for this guy. I can understand that people like his message. I always found it full of abstract notions of hope and change with some homage to JFK and MLK. The thing is, I never really saw anything detailed about what we should be hoping for and what sort of change he had in mind.

Recently I have discovered that Obama's main Foreign Relations Advisor is Zbigniew Brzezinski, the co-founder of the Trilateral Commission. This guy is one of the arch... read more

Cuba's government demanded that the United States return Guantanamo Bay to the island and denounced the "war on terror" prison, where six detainees could face the death penalty.

Foreign Minister Felipe Perez Roque, on Tuesday, charged that terror suspects being held in the US naval base in the southeastern tip of Cuba have been subjected to torture and face unfair legal treatment.

Cuba rejects "the violation of human rights, unjust incarceration of prisoners held there without charges, ... read more

Water-boarding, Telecom Immunity, posturing about invading Iran, US missile bases in Poland... Suicide bombers, Imperialism, occupied countries, psy-ops, genocide....WTF?!! I'm trying to move past anger and cynicism. I'm failing miserably.

It all hurts so much. It's frightening, awful and seems so meaningless. I sometimes feel like I'm living in a lovecraft-nihilist nightmare but then I see all this beauty around. I guess the nature of my frustration is my attachment to those things that ... read more
