My wife Shiho and I are going to be busy delivering a baby boy on Sep. 2 (approximately) at the UCSF Medical Center, so I have a scheduling conflict this year. We're very excited and prepping now (trying to empty out some of the Lower Haight apartment I've been living in for 13 years, repeat trips to baby stores, making arrangements at our jobs, etc).

I plan to be back on the playa next year and will try to make it to some Kinetic Sculpture events in the meantime (with baby and a new 24mm f1.4 prime lens in hand!). Four of the six sociable tandem rickshaws from my 2005 art grant project are in storage, ready for use, one rickshaw is vacationing with Recycle Camp until next year, and one rickshaw is in CTP's backyard (I hope).
