I've never been to another continent, I'm so f-ing excited!!! I think I might actually have....egads....a career! I'm so happy

Finally the time has come, my last moments in Santa Barbara. When I moved here, I had no idea the journey I would take, but I knew the goal. I am almost there, but the final part of the story, will be written elsewhere. 8 years I have lived in this town, I never thought I would stay so long. I am sad to leave the few friends I have left here, but am consoled knowing that their stay here is temporary as well.

I begin a new job in the Bay Area in two weeks, (thank you my dear friend) and am moving next week to my new digs. I found the perfect place to begin my new life, in a quiet area, but close enough to everything that I'll be able to explore the City, and the surrounding areas with gusto! I will even have a beautiful setting for my boulder collection! I'm excited to begin my new job as an associate geologist for an enviromental and engineering company. I get to watch more than 100 sexy men speed their way to the finish lines every damn day...until they hit Paris.... I wake up at ungodly hours of the morning, I jump up and down, I scream at the television (at my friends house, who, thankfully indulges my tour obsession) I'm disappointed in the doping scandal....the top contenders from last year are out...but my man George Hincapie came in second in the prologue...I hope he makes the podium this year...though there are alot ... read more
