Ride Available: Oakland to Santa Rosa. Saturday

I'm driving from West Oakland to Santa Rosa tomorrow (Saturday 8/29) late morning. I'm picking up a rental truck for burning man and I'm driving to SR to pick up my friend and a ton of gear. So, the ride is only one way. Let me know if you want to go.

I had some good stuff to write about today, but I drank a bunch of beer and a half bottle of wine when I'm already really tired. So ... brain is dead now that I'm online. Maybe tomorrow.

I bought my first *real* camera from a coworker recently. It's a Nikon D70S digital SLR. Hopefully I can learn how to take fancy photos like you wonderful photo freaks out there who capture some of my best memories. Lemme know if you have any tips or places around the city that are cool for playing with camera features

bassnectar breakfast

For the first time in months, I spent an hour at the gym this morning before work. I was listening to Bassnectar: Underground Communication, and I got totally lost in my head daydreaming while exercising. I used to be able to get that feeling all the time, but it doesn't happen so often anymore. Today was a good day :)

Sunset of Champions

One of my favorite moments of every new year's day is when the sun begins to set and it illuminates the downstairs dancefloor at BOC. It strangely feels like morning to me at that time, but that couldn't be farther from the truth. Thanks everyone for being there and making it such a memorable day. I love when the hands in the air start lighting up, then the faces, then the sunglasses come out. !!! ahhh . what a weekend.
