about me
What can I say? I enjoy things that the average person is too afraid to try. I've been a rennie since 1999, a stage combatant since 2000, a hockey player since 1995, a faery since 2003...you get the picture.
I have recently been deemed a cancer survivor when I was told I was officially in remission on March 6, 2007...exactly 5 months from the date I was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma. It has really changed my perspective on life and made me appreciate what I have.

In need of new lodgings...anyone have a place available?
(blog entry)
So I'm really getting fed up with my landlord. I awoke from a nap a few days ago to find her in the house. No phone call, no knock at the door...completely unannounced. I asked her if she was planning to spend the night (she says she does that ...

The big move
(blog entry)
So I'm now living in the Boston area and absolutely love it! I am convinced that this was the right thing for me to do. I left Washington on March14th and my sister and I drove across the country to my new home. I was kind of bored after work a...

I'm just sitting here at school waiting for a DVD of my post modern video art to burn. Thought that since it's taking forever, I would update you all. I am now mostly recovered from all my treatments and am feeling pretty good. I went to Mexico...

I asked her if she was planning to spend the night (she says she does that from time to time. One would think she'd give some advanced notice to her renters though) and she said she was planning to stay through the weekend...FIVE DAYS...with zero notice. NOT COOL!

So I'm now living in the Boston area and absolutely love it! I am convinced that this was the right thing for me to do. I left Washington on March14th and my sister and I drove across the country to my new home. I was kind of bored after work at first because I really didn't know anyone. Now I've got friends among my co-workers and I'm meeting other people and life is grand. :)

I'm just sitting here at school waiting for a DVD of my post modern video art to burn. Thought that since it's taking forever, I would update you all. I am now mostly recovered from all my treatments and am feeling pretty good. I went to Mexico over Thanksgiving break and did manage to get out and do a few things when I was able to get away from my HOMEWORK. That's right. I spent my trip to Mexico doing homework. Right now I'm incredibly stressed as it's the end of the semester and I st...

I am happy to announce that I have finally completed my last of 8 chemo treatments as of 2/14/07! It was a long, hard four months and I'm sooooo glad it's over. Next I will be having my second set of scans to see how much cancer is left if any and then I'll have 3 or 4 weeks of radiation therapy. My oncologist says it's possible that I'm in remission already. That would be nice.
