It's a fUll mOOn week. It's not until Saturday so you have the whole week as a fuse. The Sun moves into Sagitarius, Blessings of the natal return to the Archers! We all get a hit of the 'direction of things'. Once loosed you know the arrow only goes in one direction. More on that later, this week defines the whole next cycle, it is the seed of the Scorpio Moon -Nov 9th- Germinated, grown and bearing fruit. What we don't harvest or at least deal with will surely rot on the waning side next week and we all know what a yard of unpicked cherries looks like.

We're in the Pisces Moon on Monday. The energy flows both ways and death of person, place and thing isn't such an intimidating concept. We can see the cycle of things. Mars gets in the middle of Venus and Mercury, the classic Mars square Venus and then later in the day a trine with Mars and Mercury. Mars in Cancer has a lot of pent up flashes to burst up to the surface.

When Mars and Venus square regardless of sign it's a format we all have access to; the internal blend of masculine/feminine that makes us up. Even for someone in a decade old rut it's still a fluid blend. This yin-yang combination described as projection/reception, physical/emotional or ease/disease is scientific by as well as metaphoric. We now alter hormone levels to illicit a variety of medical aims. Also it seems like it's not such a good idea. The regulation of the being goes on thought by though, breath by breath. Every day, for our whole life we have a chance to participate more in that process, ancient theories or modern technologies, there is plenty to drawn on.

So today we know what is, has or needs to die. The moment of acceptance and moving on into the new reality can happen now or be dragged on forever, it's a matter of choice.

Overnight the Aries Moon is installed, Tuesday makes the musings of yesterday seem like they never happened. While using this burst of energy and momentum don't loose track of the realizations of the last few days. It will keep the arrow pointed in the right direction. Aries moon energy just wants to empty the quiver quickly and the search around for other things to put in the bow. Watch bumps of the head, strange but common occurrence on waxing Aries moons. It is the day associated with Mars in most systems, the moon tags Mars on a degree sensitive in king george's natal chart. Someone hide the red button from him please!

Wednesday we still have the fiery winds of the Aries moon in our sails. The full moon is just days away and focusing some of the momentum to clean up the areas of your life that the Scorpio new moon exposed is vital. If you sweep it under the carpet or look out another window to avoid seeing it on the waning side you're gonna have a mess. Mercury is trine Uranus today, sympathetic messages of a fresh look at your situation. Revel in it, see it as a possibility, even if it includes learning to fly or a new language. It will flavor the rest of the week, so when that crazy prophet on the street hits you will some skewed wisdom don't toss it out before mulling it around a bit. There are fragments of talismans, morsels of evolution and hints of divination sprinkled in the oddest places right now.

On a side note, I've been feeling the transits are right for our 'deep throat' right now. Or if you prefer the defector from the dark side, the one who gives up some hard evidence paired with those who have the bravery to expose the truth. This degree (the mercury/Uranus trine) was hot for the new moon, the u.s.s.a. and president shrub. It's the window open for two weeks. Can't wait to see it. I pray that people care about it as much as anna Nicole smith.

We reach the thick part of the Full moon fuse Thursday with the Taurus moon. Nice to have a good solid body level, nature of pleasure and sustenance before the full moon. The Sun moves into Sagitarius. It's always a party for the Archers among us so we enter the season of gatherings and merriment. Just another reason to shave off your issues so this cycle doesn't drain you and can sustain you. From the vista of the Taurus moon we can see the simple needs in life and revel in what we have. Gratitude equals high serotonin so get with those mind thoughts and feelings and heal yourself cell by cell.

By Friday we're 'within-orb' of the full moon , the fuse has disappeared into it and all that's left is the boom. Moon still in Taurus but rolling void. The Tantric Yogi's say the moment just before is more powerful than the moment after if you know what I mean. It's even cultivated as a state of meditation. Like poise on the tracks with a freight train.

Rituals or business deals you should have it together by today. If you don't stay minimalist as you missed the window. It's best not to grab and get frantic just take it as it is. So whether you're closing the big deal or a circle drawn in corn flour go with what you really can count on and understand mentally, physically and emotionally.

Saturday the moon is full at 2 degrees Gemini. It's early 6:30am PST. Moment before or after it's on! I've always loved the pairing of this full moon each year. In the opposite season it's Gemini Sun and Sagitarius Moon. Now in the northern dark nights it's the Sagitarius Sun with the Gemini Moon.

The Archer, one-pointed ness, infused with the distant ideas and places sits opposite the twins, diffused thoughts and communications, the mirrors of all possibilities reflecting freely. When a bow is pulled to tension thatit will release is a guarantee. Relaxing a bow is actually not easy to do with grace. The simplest is to just let free with the fingers, but be sure you have sighted a target!

One of the greatest archers of all time is Arjuna of the Bhagavad-Gita. His quandary was over loosing arrows onto those of his blood, and in the grand sense of that poem, right action, wrong action or no action. That if we are connected to all how can we war, how is any act against the dharma anonymous or without victim. Even indecision is a decision.

Arjuna eventually gives up his whining and gets to the living of reality and so shall we. To consider deeply the nature of actions in general and the actions of our lives is of course a given. Otherwise one could end up under the wheels of the chariot instead. With Mercury square Neptune, secrets and obsessions are the wheels so could certainly get messy like Ben Hur for some. Twisted natural selection I guess.

Sunday is the afterglow. Hopefully it's not from uranium. Whether you see it as a 40's detective flick with cigarette holder and red wine or the smoldering of an all night puja dhuni we should drink it in thirstily with all sensory functionables. This is the reason of life, for the living. Life isn't happening to you, you are happening to it.

After the full moon last Thursday we're in the waning cycle, the ebb of the tide, the seeding through decay from the Libra new moon the 10th of October. This week two backward moving planets turn direct, Mercury and Neptune. The dreams, visions, delusions, flights of mind and fantasies of the last cycle have to fruit or die. It's the cycle of nature. Look for the seeds you keep and don't weep for the ones you don't. They are food for something else.

Monday the moon is in babble, Gemini. Take care one could say something that will fester and infect quickly, like by later tonight. 'Cause the moon heads into Cancer. It's always a good time to review what you did babble about the last couple of days and make sure you didn't give a verbal agreement that you don't want to back up in writing.

Jupiter gets square with Venus and then glances Neptune while the Sun and Saturn mix. A potent start to the week. Outer planet stuff disperses over time, so the week carries these flavors. Visions of expansion, and expression being freed from the dream world. Social fantasies will be loosed from the minds and souls and walk the streets as reality. Revel in the costumes of the everyday and see the uniforms they hide. What comes up from the depths always returns to them, it's the wake left behind we have to deal with.

Tuesday the Cancer moon passes by Mars. The craying tissues will be needed as with each month passage of the moon through Cancer. Mars is brewing some nastiness and doesn't like to be suppressed. If you happen to be the leader of the free world that has a Sun in Cancer almost by degree of this transit take a breath before you push any buttons today. Especially big red ones. And if you're not that guy we could all use a bit of channeling into the over soul to avoid dubya from acting out today, he makes such huge messes when he does.

Wednesday we should still walk and talk lightly. Cancer moons are no joke. The body/mind/heart is at its most sensitive and a great time to watch for internal messages on areas of health that may need attention. It's easy to just live on anxiety and adrenalin, pushing on just to keep pushing on. But it's far easier to not get sick or emotionally down by tending to the body/mind when it sends us hints. Staying hydrated is sooo important. It takes more water to keep us warm then to cool us off so it's a sneaky thing that can happen, getting dehydrated when it's chilly, then all sorts of fun phlegm breaks out. If you can't stay healthy for you try staying healthy for those around you. It's embarrassing to be the one that brought the superBug home.

Neptune turns Direct today. Lumbering backward since the end of May the in-tune of the village will look over dreams, visions, obsessions and the like to see what this cycle from then to now has exposed. You learned something about the deeper workings of yourself. Now is the time to actualize it so you don't lose the lesson. It will take a few days for Neptune to get momentum forward so use the 'in station' period as a dreamy review.

Thursday the moon goes into Leo and it's the last quarter Moon. We're really in the dark side now! The Leo Moon offers a bit of energy and passion. So if the Cancer moon brought you down to the depths now you have a chance to break out. This evening is 'dia de los muertos'. The day of the dead. With so many people inviting the dead down for dinner how could they refuse? If you have a chance to head to the cemetery of someone that died this year take them their favorite food and drink and go hang out with them. It's a lot cooler and more real then Halloween.

Mercury goes DIRECT today! The great communicator has been retro since the 11th of October. Look back and see what machines, devices and calendar meetings tortured you the last few weeks. Before heading forward there is an 'in station' period of a couple days. So writers, artists, technicians all should give everything the once over before turning it over. Any blatant miscommunications of the last few weeks should be combed over for hidden problems. Don't just gloss them over because when they crack it could pull it all down on you.

Friday many will have put off the Halloween party until the weekend to take full advantage. It will serve to be good timing as the moon is in Leo, defiantly a party sign. All sorts of big cats will be out and flashing red. Remember to place nice and keep the drama to a minimum. Leo moons can turn on you, confident and sassy one moment weepy and self doubting the next.

The Moon heads into Virgo for the weekend, so Saturday and Sunday are sort of the 'worker bee window'. The mind will be sizzling and the hands and feet too. We all could use a bit of home cleansing and releasing of the clutter. It's definitely time to get the cave in order. Small bits of effort can pay off big in changing the 'vibe' of your surroundings. Hibernation season is here and you don't want stuff smelling up the corners, it makes for a grumpy bear.

The Sun and Mars trine today, bringing together the powerful water signs of Scorpio and Cancer. The explosive energy of Mars is stifled in Cancer and things are bound to explode to the top. Mix fire and water and you get steam. A potent physical force. I already made light of king george's placements in Cancer. It's a real thing though and the headlines could ooze with its effects. On a persona level we can use this steam judiciously to push up things we don't want in the depths. Sure it's easier in the short run to ignore all that deep Scorpio stuff. The downside is it's working while you sleep, while you focus on trivial things. Remember live with reality or it comes to live with you.

...and the sky went black. Yes we're in that time again, the darkest of the Lunar phase. Creeping towards a new Moon in Leo on Sunday. There is a lot between Sunday and us; Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Pluto, Venus and Mercury all have major aspects this week. Secrets will be slippery and want out of the closet, old habits will make a run at you to show you what you loved about them and the deepest waters of the psyche will flow free on the surface. Kind of an apocoWeek for sure.

Monday we start with the Moon in Taurus, it gave us a comfortable but sloth-like weekend, able to sit around and appreciate our surroundings. The heavies shadow the day; Saturn trine Pluto and Mars moves into Gemini. Mmm sounds like a recipe of a war of words that escalates into a pounding by real world weapons. Saturn/Pluto will play out through the week, as they are slow moving. It's in fire signs, Leo-Sag and the sparks can escalate into a blaze easy.

On a personal level you might want to set all weapons to stun or not carry them at all. Remember thoughts and words are weapons too. With Mars in Gemini for a month words have instant presence on the physical plane. Remember just 'cause everyone laughs doesn't mean it's funny.

Jupiter turns direct after being stalled since April. So your mechanisms of expansion, whether they be organic or machine should gather speed and be working properly by the middle of the week. Projects, pieces, art or business all elements of expansion are now on GO!

Tuesday the Moon moves into Gemini and touches Mars right away, then fresh off that Mars and Venus square, the elemental masculine and feminine in a square, a harsh angle for astrology. Venus in practical Virgo and Mars is dispersed in Gemini. It's a time in relationships that you can check the moorings, make sure that all parties are on the same page so to speak. Not a great time for a fight over trivial shit, you'll end up wasting time and digging a hole. You can flip it and use all this for some vigorous cuddling and send that down into the cellular level instead.

Wednesday most of the day we are still in the babbler, the Gemini moon, so you have to realize that you're going to say more than you intended and that words have some extra oomph to them. It's also really easy to agree on something you won't feel like following through on later so take commitments and give them sparingly.

The Moon slips into Cancer in the evening and Venus continues her backward motion into Leo. The evening would be good for a bath and some quite time with the intimates as the tears and emotions are close to the surface.

Thursday the moon is still in potent Cancer and the issue machine is cranked up full blast so be careful with your own and treat others as reality.

Mercury is trine Jupiter, who is now moving forward as stated above. If you can't brainstorm some ideas about expansion of your band, dance troupe or new start-up then you don't have any storm at all. This will play out for a few days so get the band together and thrash out some new tunes or state that plan for a free energy project out there to the universe, it's listening and hasn't heard from you in awhile. It's best to pray/ritual/conjure when things are going good, you can't expect the forces that be to bail you out if you only call on them when the shit is going down. Internally we can converse with our whole being so it's a great passage to do some internal advertising that reaches way down to the depth of your cells.

Friday we're still in lunar Cancer. The moon 'rules' the sign of Cancer, not so much in a rocker stylee but that too. So when the moon is in Cancer it seems like it's all amplified, emotions, feelings and intuitions are floating on the surface and foretell lots of stuff in the depths too. So we should walk lightly and carry a soft stick. People's buttons are up and easy to push so you have to take them with the proverbial grain of salt. My granny says, "if I pushed your buttons what are they doing up?".

Saturday the moon gets with LEO!!! So all you kitties out there outa' get your shit together and play nice for the whole weekend. This is your moon when you can set the tone for the year to come, how you eat, clean and purr. Everything is a microcosm to you. For the rest of us we are honorary Felines and it's also now within orb, that is the darkest night of the month. The depths of our being come up to greet us. Great night to see ghosts from the past and future. You can't overdo the red today and let it fly. This is a great aspect for internal readjustment of your heart, what does it really crave? Not just in the simple needs category but also in the fulfillment of YOU, the complete you. Find out what it is your are here for!! If you're not doing that you're wasting the energy of the sum of existence. There's some pressure for you.

Sunday ahhhh the kNEW Moon, full moon's get the press but without the fresh new moon they would be nothing. It's another chance to hit the reset button on the issues of your life. Look them right in the eye and give them the, "I don't play 'dat". The next new moon is an eclipse so you want to really set your pattern deep and simple. All this introspection and interior alignment with purpose doesn't have to be so heavy. For many of us it just doesn't work that way. You can be more spontaneous then that, make it swirl instead of going in straight lines. A walk on the park can be as powerful a ritual as fifty people chanting in robes in a circle, and often far truer. So whatever your puja style make it ring in you, make it fun, make it sexy, but just make it. 'Cause if you don't make life it's gonna make you.

Yes the Leo thru Scorpio run, one of the most vibrant segments of the monthly tour the moon does of the zodiac. Early in the week it could get a little too spicy for many, tempers can flare in an instant and confidence can plummet like someone stuck a pin in your balloon. It can work in the other direction too so if you're down look for a hand hold and drag yourself back up, you don't want to miss the Scorpio Moon this weekend.

Wednesday the Virgo Moon moves past a trine with Mars, it's a usable 120 degree aspect and the energy it wells up is again a two sided sword, tomorrow the Moon moves into diplomatic Libra but for today we have to watch for emotional/mental roadside bombs. Different then the popular variety often people don't know that they planted them and have no control on when they will explode. When they come from inside us we can be more surprised then everyone else. Our issues are never new but there is always a chance to observe ourselves while they are spouting out and get a fresh take on how they flavor our behavior. This is the last of the Virgo energy so if you have something you need to organize and get to today is the day, it will take less time and seem like a release not a chore.

Thursday we slip with the Moon into Libra and everything looks all right. With the first of this altruistic and non-judgmental vision look back at what issues blew up in your face the last couple of days. It's the last quarter of the moon, darkest of the dark, in a way deepest of the deep and clearest of the clear for those who are brave enough each month to tune into it. For others it can be a cycle each month that old ghosts appear, skeletons of all kinds escape the closets and the hidden motivations of the outside world tweak buttons.

Monday the week begins in Taurus lending the opportunity for plenty of foxhole or graveyard humor. That attitude that spawns stickers like, "where the hell are we going and why am I in this basket." Mercury turns Direct, she has been Retrograde since the middle of June. A glance back over the machines that tortured you, the meetings that went awry or near misses of communication to harvest the lessons of what Mercury thinks you should work on concerning pace of life and quality of communication. Taurus is a great sign to survey your field like the bull, pass some contentment over your zone, don't be Pollyanna but well up a sense of gratefulness, it doesn't take long looking at the headlines to see that most of us are living a life that billions would trade for instantly.

Tuesday the Moon drops the clutch and shifts into Gemini, the official sign of babble. We all really love to babble, language and being the chatty ape is one of the great tools that we have used to get where we are. Conversation and babble are two different things. In Gemini it's easy to make a commitment that later in Cancer it's difficult to keep. This flows both ways so take care with what you agree to and check back on it in a few days to firm it up.

The Sun trines Uranus bringing together Cancer and Pisces. It's a great aspect for instantaneous healing if you can wrap your conscious mind around that. It's that idea that if you shift the way you think the issues and ills of the past can be just that, the past, the biggest hurdle is the part of us inside that identifies with being wounded. We have all witnessed this is some way through a person that just instantly shifted and was free of old patterns. This will flavor the whole week and leading up to the new moon in Cancer on Saturday makes it a potent undercurrent to this dark moon week.

Wednesday we still are under the lunar influence of babble. The overlooked conversation we're all having all the time is the one with the person in the mirror. Meditators will tell you that it's a constant talk radio network in there. With the influence of the moon we can all 'hear ourselves out', that is really dialogue with yourself. Call out that internal critic or saboteur and ask them a few questions, get them to back up the nasty smack that they talk. Getting some relationship with yourself is always exponentially more evolutionary then the external relationships and it can imbibe the other relationships in your life with that fresh feeling that you crave.

Thursday we move into Cancer, next stop the new Moon on Saturday. The Moon rules the sign of Cancer and this is one of the most potent Cancer moons of the year. Often the part of your physical/emotional being that needs attention will make itself known under this transit. Many women have their most intense menstruation leading up to this moon. Next to the full moon in Cancer, which happens in December, it's the most powerful. We don't have to duck it like a coming storm but can rise to meet this amplification of the feeling parts of our being. It's a chance to check over all the systems and see how the sensory equipment is working.

With the feelings high it's also a tightrope of sorts, you can delve into deep issues with someone and find new common ground and understanding but also there is the possibility of short fuses. Road rage, impatience and general grumpiness can surface in an instant. You have to watch situations that spiral out of control in a flash, if there seems to be too much emotion over a small detail then it's probably drawing off something deeper. You can just try and bull through it but a better track would be to take a breath while the issue is exposed and examine it. Remember that the door to the depths is open and that possibility of instantaneous evolution is there.

Friday we are 'within orb' that is very close to the new moon. It's the darkest phase and it would behoove the seekers out there to use this shadow day of the lunar month to examine the shadows of our self. We always think of it as a bit ominous and that's why few take this brave path of self-awareness. There is another look at it in that you could discover a hidden desire or need that is extremely positive and to nurture that is to allow a part of you ignored to surface and flourish.

Now is the time to clean the alter, set your intentions and generally gear up your human space ship for another cycle of the moon. It's always the best time to regenerate that part of us that is always aware of the lunar cycles. Full Moons get all the press but without the New Moon they would get no Moon at all.

Saturday the new Moon happens early here on the left coast of the u.s.s.a. at 5:06am. So for many it was during the night Friday. There is a link to a simple global time calculator below. For us on the left coast it's also Cancer rising so it's triple Cancer. It bodes for a weekend of fullness and home-style enjoyments. All the smack put on Cancer for just wanting to make you cry is true but often doesn't get paired with the element of Cancer giving us the sense of home, in the body and the structure. We can invigorate the home scene with a stellar energy that carries over. We can all be parents of our neighborhood for children of all ages, adopting that caring posture towards our whole community and not just the select few. It's like a muscle this caring sentient attitude, the more we use it the more artful and powerful it becomes. In the world we live in hard core caring and compassion is in short supple so fill it up to the brim and take full advantage.

If you did have the heart to heart with yourself earlier in the week now is the time to sink down to the cellular level the messages and intentions that you want the hidden parts of you to act on. It's okay to tell your 100 billion cells, "I want to be light, creative, loving, strong, dependable and flexible." They will listen, they have to, you're the reason they are here.

In the evening the Moon shifts into Leo giving us a break from all the heaviness and inspiring us to put on the red shoes and dance. It will feel refreshing and a great way to celebrate the new moon. Venus moves into Virgo for a month and we can now integrate the higher ideals, morals and concepts of beauty and harmony into our thinking patterns. If we have to obsess why not obsess on something gorgeous and inspiring? She will transit through until the middle of September with a retrograde that takes her back to Leo. So if you really want to shift how the heart relates to the mind here is your opportunity.

Sunday the moon rests in Leo with no major aspects. After this intense week we can use this energy of an open and passionate heart to sooth the parts of us that may have been bruised. To acknowledge the theatrical and playful parts of ourselves, especially for those that are naturally shy and reserved, is like cleaning out the fun filter. Just let it all hang out and don't worry how you appear to others. Really gaining a sense of how you appear to yourself is vastly more important and allows you to really engage with others on another level. The heart is definitely a "use it or loose it" part of us.

This week we go cardinal, the Sun moves into Cancer. For the northern hemi now the hints of Spring become summers obviousness and in the south autumn lets go and winter grabs a hold. It's the shift to the seasons of the extremes, when we're reminded that we are still connected to simple things. It has always been and will always be one of the great days of each year to cast, conjure, puja, pray or charge the energy field with the flavor of your own choosing. Each being rules the temple of their own making, with the senses that they develop. Thursday let's all take it up a notch.

Monday the Leo Moon gets the week going with a passionate rushing energy, it can float in heights of community vision and plummet into the depths of personal doubt and despair. We all get a reminder that where the mind is pointed the heart will follow and have a chance to grab the reins and take some responsibility for what webs our thoughts weave.

The Sun and Pluto are opposite each other today and tugging in polar directions. The charge of Pluto the war planet and the paternal principle can bring that some harsh words in conflict. Any time we feel harsh conflict rearing its head there are two directions it seems; escalate or the opposite. We can also try the third method sort of tantric conflict management and just take a few breaths, change the physical posture, get some eye contact and take a scan for what the real issue is. It's possible that the same issue can cause multiple petty conflicts and bad relationships in a life. It only takes reacting differently once to shift out of a pattern. So the whole week has this Pluto shadow, Mars and Pluto tangle on Thursday. So it's not new age-y 'avoid conflict', that's just bad math, conflict exists all we have to do is look at the atom, but we have a chance to harmonize the nature of conflict and spin with as much grace as a single molecule.

On Tuesday that sizzle from the heart sublimates into the mind. A thing that is the brain but also so much more then we realize, the mind has to be used to study itself so that is a flawed experiment from the start. There is the space that is mind and not connected to the physical at all and there is the realm of Virgo. It's why the stereotype of Virgo is fanatic cleaning, you can just see the physical world from a different perspective and the sorting and cleaning that normally exposes so much baggage seems effortless, that's whys it's easy to put off, now it's clear of that and easily sorted like with like. Whether that's a CD collection or the relationships in a life, we can get the proverbial ducks in a row, eventually they will scatter again but it's healthy to take a head count.

Venus trines Jupiter today joining the fires signs of Leo and Sag. This is such a sweet combination that I don't want to babble to much, but it also happens on the eve of the Solstice and will play out into next week. Thinking of Venus is always this gorgeous creature on the half shell floating about, but she has a hard-core side that includes boots and tools that would surprise you. She can 'enforce' harmony on you if you don't want to rise up to it. Jupiter is the principle of Expansion, the jyotish call him Guru. Those taking advantage of the puja party tomorrow will be soaking in this principle of the force of harmony, like a tidal wave, given inertia by the source of expansion and they will be the channel for it's filtering into the human plane. It's not huge acts that are the instruments of evolution, each breath is a ritual, every heartbeat a prayer.

Wednesday the mind is still getting the charge from the Virgo moon. Inversions are a healthy thing to do for the mind and the digestion, two of the associations of Virgo. You don't have to pull off Sirasana, if the mind is just spinning sit upside down on the couch for ten minutes and just 'watch' it. The workings of any human mind dwarf our most powerful computer so it's entertaining in the least. The inversion helps in circulation and you can notice a shift in energy and mental equilibrium. With the mechanics of how we think exposed we can tinker and tune, small adjustments can lead to huge affects when we attune this deep in the process of human thinking.

The Solstice is Thursday. Happens at 11:07am on the west coast of the u.s.s.a. You can calculate your exact time here. The pairs of solstice's and equinoxes are the major days that have been observed for our whole existence. Duh without the cycles of the seasons we'd all be minerals or at best a rare form of algae. This is one of the two days each year the mark the change into the extremes of the weather patterns. Ancients believed and practiced the art/science of infusing intention into these days. Opening up that connection between the macro and microcosm, allowing the individual to transmit into the total and the total to be absorbed by the individual. It's not a matter of whether we 'get it' or not, it's going to happen. The crux is how much you participate in it. Life is not a spectator sport!

Mars is trine Pluto today mixing the signs of Aries and Sag, this is some potent action as we already looked at. Pluto and Mars can you feel me? Fights to the death over parking spaces, children destroying toys, new death toll high in Baghdad. There's a flavor for you, as with all extreme life there is the potential to tune your sails properly and on an individual or small community level get a lot of inertia from this. Doing big physical projects that can bring healing to your backyard or community is one way to absorb and distribute this. For the adventurous you can put the physical through some paces, to the point of exhaustion and watch what the mind and body have to say to each other under this stress. It's an excellent time to tune each of our personal fuses, to discover what our buttons are and what they are hooked to. On this day of the union of the micro and macro we each need to recognize that we have an oppressive leader and an insurgent down inside. Getting them both to disarm and realign is a job only you can do for you.

Friday could feel a bit like a bliss hangover, a little slow and sluggish but with a nice fuzzy feel to it all. The Moon has slipped into Libra in the night and we have a fresh look at the opportunities in our sphere. Libra brings out the diplomat in all of us, that ability to see all sides of an issue. A great day to make some peace if the Mars and Pluto vibe got to thick and words and actions went to the harsh side. Seeing all sides enables us to get out of the subjective and see our part without self-judgment. Resolution is about everyone winning, of seeing the full solution so clearly that the idea of blame has no place.

Uranus turns retrograde in perspective to our planet. The planet of revolution, innovation and much consternation gives us a review. There is only one retrograde a year of the outer or 'social' planets. As the Moon goes by the Uranus point each month until November we'll get a release of this essence. For us individuals it's a scan on things that are new to us like machines, ideas that we've integrated, new friends and lovers, it's a perspective of seeing the surface as a reflection of the depths, to be able to attach the fresh and innovative to all parts of us.

Sunday we get the Lunar shift into Scorpio, a deep and heavy key for many to play in. It will carry into the beginning of the week but use it today to focus back on the week, on the intentions that you fused with, go for deep internal forgiveness and get the strategic and all seeing eye of Scorpio for a clear perspective on your life. Mars shifts into Taurus today and not a body count to soon. Since going into Aries in mid-May the headlines have been soaked with blood. The inter party-language-religious-ethnic wars now outweigh the most foolish war in history. That's tough I know as all wars are foolish but the Crusade of 'dubya' raised the bar for foolish, gruesome and atrocious. With Mars in Taurus the manipulation will turn to reconciliation and you'll see factions all sitting down to tea by August. Mars' transit through Taurus will reach some flashpoints but they will serve as rallying calls, as is often the case with the coverage of this diabolical war, the 'news' itself one of the most embarrassing and offensive parts of this war, a huge loss of life will be termed a 'wake up' call. How asleep can you be that at this late stage you haven't woken up yet? For individuals Mars in Taurus will give us a chance to live the world the way it should be, along side the contradiction. Men who tune in can also sense the menstrual cycles in themselves though less obvious. So it's not something that you have to look outside for, it's an internal thing. The Gemini New Moon is the last of spring and the forerunner of summer here in the Northern Hemisphere, a time when the natural world is offering up fruit and flower. The sign of Gemini is represented by the twins, similar but opposing forces, the idea of every action begets a reaction. To unify this is to internally accept that in ourselves and to meld it together, there is an 'I' behind this internal we. So if the issues get to you get your fingers in the earth, it's a guarantee that the benefits will last through the summer.

Sunday we have a split day, the Moon is in Cancer until the morning and then shifts into Leo. The rest of us get it once a month. It's secrets that want to be told, strangers divulging their life story, people uttering deep things then trying to cover it up with, "why did I say that?" No time is good for lying, then you have two things to remember the truth and the lie, but during this transit it's disastrous as it's sure to unravel. Scorpio goes to the depths of our being and what rests there wants to get out, there is a gravity of sorts to the hidden and it wants to surface.

Reality no matter how weird just is. The further people or cultures are from it the greater the shock when it's revealed. It's much easier if we invite it in, when dragged out of the shadows it's much harsher to face then if you voluntarily direct your awareness to it. We all want to be in on what's going on, the way things are, under scorpio we can see it all. For each of us it's more simple and more complex then we conceive, now is a time to tune up. Thursday is the full moon, for some it's early Friday morning. It's the Sun in Gemini and the Moon in Sagittarius with us in the middle. From today through the week the density of communication is powerful. With Neptune it has to do with our personal reactions to social obsessions. Hard core obsessions like binge drinking, warring violence even ambivalence towards war and climate destruction has become a group obsession. It only takes one person in a group to speak the truth, to identify the huge pink elephant in the room to pull the glaze off the vision of everyone.
