In the ten years I've known him there has been more fabulously delicious moments than there are stars in the Academy®. This man doesn't make things happen -- he is a happening. Avery is funny. He has a rare perspective on life that he loves to share with his friends. Sometimes his voice makes me feel ticklish. He's incredibly insightful and perceptive, has a gift for being stylish, and he's fast too. He's always been the one to carry the conversation. Sometimes the dynamic of our friendship reminds me of Gertrude and Alice, but it's way more epic than that. I miss him since he moved to New York. I'm so glad he's my friend after all these years.
