Amused...i was playing brick by brick a few weeks ago, and there's a magazine on the table with Henry on the back page! recognition comes easily for someone as creative as henry who is a cool cat whom i've known before his first burn. A born leader and talented builder of the future. amazing art & creativity in his soul...which transforms to machine. glad we met way back when, always great to see ya...luv, sweet~

This petition trying to get the Governer to pardon Paris Hilton blows me away. Here's a snippet from the petition.

The game is set in dilapidated Detroit, a city whose population has shrunk by over 50% since its peak in the industrial heydey of the 1950s. The game is being played at Ford Field, it's namesake corporation recently announcing a 30,000 worker layoff, surely not the last.

The Pittsburgh Steelers, both of whose nickname and location are tied to that same former industrial glory, is an very apt metaphor for the same. Proud traditions, former glories, 4 Super Bowl Championships.

I've seen one example of a corporation that has seen the threat that global warming poses to their business and is actually doing something about it.

Swiss Re, the world's 2nd largest reinsurer (reinsurers insure insurance companies and are very big money entities) has been warning that climate change due to global warming could do up to $150 billion in damage over the next ten years.

The ecosystem is what suffers most from global warming - many species (coral, as an example) are unable to adapt quickly enough to the unprecedented rate of change of the climate.

Humans are the cause of this threat, but humans won't do anything about it until the changes are so great that the existing infrastructure supporting human habitation is also unable to cope with the change.
