The gallery show was an amazing success and full of all that rich dusty goodness the Playa is known for.

Wow!!!
I had a blast. It was great seeing some old friends like Moze and meeting many nerw ones. There is one thing I cannot get over. It was a werid feeling seeing all the familar BM art with out the Playa. It was like looking at shadows. I mean there is so much emotional and feeling attached to all the art from my personal experiences on the Playa. Anywho... GOOD SHOW!!! =:) Cross Sidhe |

Yeah, I agree and the claustrophobia of the art and us wedged inside with walls and clean floor and no open sky with stars overhead.
Reminds me of when I went to see Extra Action Marching Band on Halloween 2006 at 12 Gallaxies in the Mission, S.F. It was almost intolerable to endure their full-throttle huge sound and their collective energy squeezed into this tiny enclosed space. There was nowhere for the blaring sound and frenetic dance energy to go as it reverberated back upon itself again and again building pressure! I thought the place should collapse, revealing the hungry night air above to free us from this tyranny of hopeless enclosure. |

At one point I wanted to cry. I mean I have so much memories of the art being out on the Playa. I guess it was good too see it in the gallery. It sort of make you reflect and ponder the power and evergy of the Playa. I mean could you not hear the echos of the Playa?
I did. Thanx to those who put on this event. (((((((((((((((((((((((((((((HUGS))))))))))))))))))))))) Cross Sidhe |
