Detroit, 43, quickly assembled performers she knew from Detroit's Theatre Bizarre performance space and the Burning Man arts festival in Nevada. Though many performers were part of the local leather and fetish party scene, their goal for this show was to create something less risqué and more innocent.

Stache is my flame, my true love, the sugar in my bowl. His kisses make me tingly all the way down to my toes. Who else would make costumes as elaborate as mine? Who else can melt me like butter with a single glance? Who else can part the crowd like the red sea when he gets on the dance floor? Besides all that, he has impeccable taste, he's unbearably hot, and he plays drums like an AN-I-MAL! I’m so glad he’s mine.
