No One can make you happy

Spending our lives pleasing others or finding someone to please us is never going to make us happy.
Living our lives for others will only lead to disappointment and falling short of our own needs and desires.
It is good to love and care for others and to even wish to find someone to spend our lives with.
However, keep in mind what is a priority in your life and never think yourself unworthy of anything.
Always give credit to yourself and it wont matter if you are surrounded by friends or alone, because you will always have your dreams and yourself :-)

Making someone happy
I would have to say that depends on if you find making someone happy a chore or something that brings you happiness, I have spent a lot of my life being selfish with myself and my time, it is nice to give that to someone else for a change. It can not be a one way street but needs to be mutual, you can not make someone happy if they are not giving equal in return, it will only cause one of you hardship.

In essence, Happiness comes from within. It is the state at which we arrive when our dreams and our lives coincide. Thus, we must create our own happiness by shaping our lives to create the medium in which happiness will appear. To do so is a hard road, but it *can* be achieved. |
