I'm shy until I know you then watch out cause you won't get me to shut up! I'm overly sensitive, a perfectionist, and creative. Can you say VIRGO! I have three kids, a dog, a cat and a few fish. I'm married to a newspaper pressman, who is obessed with his KLR Kawasaki motorcycle.

I LOVE TO DANCE it just must be in my blood. I've recently discovered the interesting and very colorful world of Belly Dancing. Which I'm really enjoying and have met alot of spunky and unique girls of all ages and backgrounds. I'm so pleased to have come across this fun group, Sukkra Beledi & Raqs Hilwa and I hope to be apart of it for many years to come. A special Thank you to our Guru, Ozell.

Farmer Brown's Summa Solstice
Guess I got so excited about Fusion Fest I totally forgot all about Farmer Brown's HOT Summa Solstice. Which was lots of fun and really HOT. Mz. eLIZa and I performed our Raqs Hilwa Rom, Turkish & Sultan's Dream pieces inbetween band performances. Eliza also did an awesome solo. We performed on carpets overtop of hot sand which I burnt my feet slightly on since I forgot to take my dance shoes. It was a fun afternoon! Look forward to performing at Farmer Brown's again.

FUSION FEST 2008
If you didn't make it to Fusion Fest - Mark it on your calendar for next year!!! So many amazing dancers from the Treasure Valley and beyond!!

Samira and all the Cairo Fusion crew did such a wonderful job putting on the Pre-Party & Runway Show on Friday night. Wow, I never would have imagined that you could sew Winco plasic bags together then cut out a dress pattern and wear it on a runway. Emmett Cherry Festival
What a beautiful day in Emmett for the Cherry Festival. I had alot of fun performing on the main stage with Raqs Hilwa. I think we put on a great show and had fun doing it. Can't wait to get the video clips uploaded on youtube.

Afterwards, my husband and I took our kids on a few rides then walked around and checked out all the booths. The petting zoo was lots of fun!

Purple Dreams Show - Salt Lake City, UT
WOW!!! I don't even know where to start. It was an amazing weekend in Salt Lake City. The Purple Dreams Show had so many beautiful dancers wish we could have seen all of the performances but since we were in it we had to go get dressed so missed a few. Can't wait for the DVD to be ready. Our performance went really well, especially since it was our first time performing it. And the first time for me to perform on a stage with professional lighting. Farmer Brown's Full Moon Drum Circle
WOW, so much fun!! It was my first time at one of Farmer Brown's drum circles and I'm totally impressed!! I had a blast dancing with the BEAUTIFUL Ms. Eliza. My daughter Alysha also joined in on the dancing. I hope to go again soon. What a great group of people!!
