I've wondered about what to write as a testimonial for Stacie for the past couple of months. How would I best testify to her presence? Then it came to me in a word: alchemy. Perhaps it is her interest in the sciences and the arts which makes me think of alchemy as it is commonly thought about but also in manner Jung used it as a metaphor for the evolution of the personality. I think of Stacie working in the lab with a poet's mind. And whether she knows it or not, her words have the potency to transform.

Genuine people are rare in this world. And when you meet one, you don't question your good fortune. You just say thank you. So thanks, Stacie!

stacie is sweet, funny, sexy, gorgeous, talented and creative... she is one of those people on tribe that if i see her online i always know i'm going to smile - either at her pictures or what she'd done on her blog or whatever nasty little fantasy she's having about her daniel...
she's also always the first to reach out and give me a hug through the ether... she's a great support in tough times... she's the goddess! xoxo, >^..^< August 9, 2006
Regretfully I've never had the pleasure of dancing w/Stacie. But I met her here on tribe and I have to say she always has the most interesting blogs and the NICEST COMMENTS! Thanks for being such a sweetie Stacie!

Stacie is one of the rare type of human, who >thinks< constantly about life and its meanings. While this might seem to some like a worry wart, in my opinion its a puzzle solving type of path that each and every human should do, to try and understand their reason for being here.
Articulate, intelligent, and a rollercoaster of emotion, I wish logistically she were closer, for I would love to hang out, sip coffee, and ramble metaphysical ponderings for hours... Stacie is a catalyst for inspiration, and a good laugh when she rambles... Excellent mix!!! Keep on keepin on hun!!! *hug*

Forget the lens, the open window Look only through the cathedral stained glass. And if you see me, flickering within Bent around the photons, in peace leave me. Better to be seen between the lines Barely glimpsed, a shard in the whole. Shattered bits of colored glass reassembled A simulacrum of a pattern in God's realm. See me in the lead-lined spires In the gargoyle's leer, the swinging smoke. See me in the blessed saint's entreating hands, In the m... read more
In a word: Interesting. I got some good ideas and stirred up a lot of things that I will be thinking about for some time to come.

I listened to some street drummers, had a beer in a local pub, had some good coffee and scintillating conversation. I was also homesick and at times a little lost. I came home kind of early on Sunday and had a nap in my own bed. Zzzzzz

A lush planet intent on a stable orbit. It might not be the center of the universe, But it gravitates nonetheless. What strange creatures live there! Endless streams of writhing lemmings Cooing, gurgling dolphins in the spray And thriving societies of hermit crabs. So lovingly it rotates Showing every continent to an effulgent sun. In longing sighs it turns its seas below the daily horizon. Those darkened, paranoid chaparrals Teem with ... read more

Where I will lay my hands? When did my flesh and bones Cease belonging to me? Fingers hesitate on buttons and keys On skin, on lips, on knees. Clutching like claws to fight the need To feed the hungry integument. Have I lost the right to tickle? To poke, to caress, to gouge, to stroke? I can rend the bread at table But can only build with empty clay. Never mind who holds the title on my lips My hips, my back, my hair, my womb. Just for today, I want my h... read more

about me
I'm a loquacious, serious woman with a seriously corny side. I study and work very hard and then bellydance for fun. I'll play the fool to make you smile, or lend a shoulder or psychic vision if that fails. I live my life to serve the goddess. She saw fit to give me this curvy earth-mother figure, I might as well do something with it!
I might also point out for people that don't read my actual profile or blog, that I am happily and monogamously married. I love to flirt, and it is always nice to hear that people find me attractive. But bear in mind that flirting is as far as it will go.
