My "sister from another Mother"... I cherish that day that you came into my life, and I'll never forget it. Funny how those things happen, you know? When you least expect it. In a place you'd never imagine it. And *boom*, before you know it, you have run into someone who winds up being a life-long friend and sister. Sometimes, I have to stop and ask myself why I STILL dance. When the road is rough, I often consider taking a path elsewhere. But then, I stop and think of friends like you, who make it all worthwhile, and magical, and realize... I'm where I am for a reason, and, I'm more blessed then I'm willing to admit. Jessica, you are such a wonderful human being. You make me laugh, you're there for me in more ways than I think even you realize, you listen to me, you relate, to understand, and you have the very same "evil streak" ... muahaha :) .... I look forward to many, many years of friendship, no matter what the distance is between us. Jessica is an amazing talent. She has an energy around her when she's dancing that's just mesmerising. She's also an excellent teacher, breaking movements down in a way that makes them easy to understand. When youa re in her class, she makes you feel beautiful and capable, even if you're clueless. Even with all this talent, she's down to earth, friendly and always willing to give. "Let me know if you need help" is her catchphrase. Jessica has worked hard to network the local belly dance community, setting up a Tribe and putting together Hafla's and other events. I see a stronger and more unified dance community growing here because of her efforts. I'm so glad we met, even gladder we became friends and I'm honored to dance and work with her.
