about me
I work alot of hours managing a growing small business and its almost always on my mind... I am a sci-fi fan, I love the mystery and challenge of what the future could bring.... can humankind come back from the brink of diasaster? I celebrate the dark moments of our times while doing the little bit I can to change things for the better. I love to live life to its fullest, and I have a lot of energy to pour into play, work, friendships, you name it.

Just wanted to sent out a holiday greeting to everyone. Hope your holidays are fun, relaxing, exciting.. whatever you wish! I have been super super busy keeping up with a rapidly growing biz, so I apologize if I have not been very social.

Faster than the speed of light Dreams of spacemen fill my nights I can identify With Hari Seldons plan Or the metaphysics of The negantropic man The heros of today They aren't the same As the ones that lived yesterday Arthur C. Cark You stole my heart! I like I like I like Science science fiction Reading its my private Love addiction Philip Jose Farmer Charms me back to life He brings me to his Riverworld To be a river wife But Captain Kirk is calling For a moment in the sky On a supernova interstellar Dream as large as life Asimov's been thinking That robots do it right Give credit jobs are done But they don't fill my nights Hope you enjoyed that! I wrote it half a lifetime ago, about 1989. I forgot the tune that went with it, I never really got off the ground as a songwriter.
Thanks to everyone who made my 40th so awesome. It has been heart warming to have so many friends past, present, and future reaching out. So far I am really looking forward to the new decade. It starts this week with a long overdue vacation, a week and a half trip to Hawaii. Life already tastes sweeter knowing there are so many good people in my life I am honored to call friends!

It has been over a year since I have seen or talked to the people on this list that used to be constantly in my life. Going through a divorce changed my life in more ways than I can count. One thing is certain.. it showed me who my true friends are! So many disappear when life gets rough and things are down, but the true friends were there to offer support or just be a presence when i needed it most. Those who were true, I thank you from the bottom of my heart!

RIP all past friends. I hope you are happy and remember the good times: Jane Ben Lori Julie Karene Mike Aaron Ray Randall Vince Matt Jill Eric There are more, but the loss of these was the most profound as the memories are the strongest. I am sorry I had to change. I have spent so much of my life giving and doing for others, that when it came time to do what I needed for myself, the change was dramatic. I guess that was more change than some cared to accept. Now I am older, colder, stronger and wiser. Peace, A
There are so many things I am thankful for...

Most of all the dear friends in my life who make each day brighter Also the beauty of this world that outshines all the nasty things we humanz have done to her The creative spirit that lives within and the beautiful creative people around me And the really good beverages.. While we carve Turkeys or Tofurkeys or whatever, I reflect on historys cost of all the things we have, the massacres and thefts committed by our anscestors. Is it our turn next? I don't think humanity is ready for total forgiveness... HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO YOU ALL!
