"Only another loving look cast backward"

Next on the line up

Prep week is officially done for my next, and final show, as an intern Stage Manager (SM) at the American Conservatory Theatre.
The other members of the SM team Kimberly and Heath are amazing at what they do and after pulling down four shows two of which were Equity with Equity Stage Managers, I feel like I'm not too shabby on my part in all this.

The real proof in the pudding was getting this half day.
We booked through it, so Heath got to stay home his wife and daughter and I get to enjoy the rest!

But enough of that -- TIME TO PLUG MY SHOW!!

Contact me for group rate.
Comps if you know I love you...hell maybe if I just like you...you never know?

PAY WHAT YOU CAN : June 12th (Thursday 8pm show) -- you you want to play it safe and cheap.

'Tis Pity She's a Whore
(umm--I'm thinking this is not fun for the whole family on this one)

June 5–July 6, 2008
'Tis Pity She's a Whore
by John Ford
Directed by Carey Perloff
Music composed and performed by
Bonfire Madigan Shive

"How could a work with language so nasty and sexual politics so sophisticated have been written almost four centuries ago?"
The New York Times

This rarely staged Jacobean tragedy pits the hot-blooded violation of a shocking sexual taboo against the dirty machinations of a corrupt church and state. The result is passionate and poetic, violent and sardonic, and a classic that is mordantly fresh. Starring Tony Award–nominated Michael Hayden and A.C.T.'s own René Augesen, winner of a 2007 Bay Area Theatre Critics' Circle Award, and set to the virtuosic, edgy stylings of cellist-singer Bonfire Madigan Shive.

"Coolly intelligent and as keen and fatal as a stiletto hit to the heart"
The Guardian (London)

"Explosive . . . positively reeking of decadence . . . no-holds-barred emotional intensity"
The Daily Telegraph

"Like a modern-day horror story . . . not for the faint of heart"
Austin American-Statesman

"Ford's shocker is about 375 years old, yet its sex, sadism, and heart-stopping finale feel as
current as a creepy crime-scene TV show."
The Vancouver Sun

Yours truly will be Stage Right for this one. See a shadow and go "was that Laura?"

Now that I "rock"
Now that I "rock": I think I need to "roll"
I don't know which way the river is winding right now.
Prague? Temp working between shows? Going for high sea adventures -- well middle see adventures perhaps?
Maybe I'll go back to school for a bit and learn a "trade" outside of being organized and prepared.
Really there are so many choices!
