<div>They say: "It's curtains for you" as a threat,
but in theatre, curtain is the start.
15 to curtain
Nearly 3 hours to "curtains" on this show and my internship.

Oh I will wax an wain on this refrain
Perhaps until I am old and gray.
But this year
This internship
This show
Shows what a year can be and I will hold each year, each project, each show to it as a standard.

It's curtains, but it is just another begining

15 to places...
Have to run...
And for this
I run to(o)</div>

<div>Last night was Opening night for 'Tis Pity She's a Whore.
I'm basking in the opening night hang over (not boozy more just tried).
The show went well I'm looking forward to doing it again and again.
I had a whole team of people at the opening night party and while we can't have opening every night (more the shame) I would love to have so many more people see my last show on the Geary Stage as an intern.

And....

Tonight is pay what you want!
That's right.
Show up and put up what you like and get a seat that normally costs $15 to $69 bucks!
I believe the rush starts at 7pm and I have no idea about the line but I hope you nab up this chance as I am very low on comps.
Cheers and joys and I'm going back to sleep.</div>

<div>Prep week is officially done for my next, and final show, as an intern Stage Manager (SM) at the American Conservatory Theatre.
The other members of the SM team Kimberly and Heath are amazing at what they do and after pulling down four shows two of which were Equity with Equity Stage Managers, I feel like I'm not too shabby on my part in all this.

The real proof in the pudding was getting this half day.
We booked through it, so Heath got to stay home his wife and daughter and I get to enjoy the rest!

But enough of that -- TIME TO PLUG MY SHOW!!

Contact me for group rate.
Comps if you know I love you...hell maybe if I just like you...you never know?

PAY WHAT YOU CAN : June 12th (Thursday 8pm show) -- you you want to play it safe and cheap.

'Tis Pity She's a Whore
(umm--I'm thinking this is not fun for the whole family on this one)

June 5–July 6, 2008
'Tis Pity She's a Whore
by John Ford
Directed by Carey Perloff
Music composed and performed by
Bonfire Madigan Shive

"How could a work with language so nasty and sexual politics so sophisticated have been written almost four centuries ago?"
The New York Times

This rarely staged Jacobean tragedy pits the hot-blooded violation of a shocking sexual taboo against the dirty machinations of a corrupt church and state. The result is passionate and poetic, violent and sardonic, and a classic that is mordantly fresh. Starring Tony Award–nominated Michael Hayden and A.C.T.'s own René Augesen, winner of a 2007 Bay Area Theatre Critics' Circle Award, and set to the virtuosic, edgy stylings of cellist-singer Bonfire Madigan Shive.

"Coolly intelligent and as keen and fatal as a stiletto hit to the heart"
The Guardian (London)

"Explosive . . . positively reeking of decadence . . . no-holds-barred emotional intensity"
The Daily Telegraph

"Like a modern-day horror story . . . not for the faint of heart"
Austin American-Statesman

"Ford's shocker is about 375 years old, yet its sex, sadism, and heart-stopping finale feel as
current as a creepy crime-scene TV show."
The Vancouver Sun

Yours truly will be Stage Right for this one. See a shadow and go "was that Laura?" </div>

Punk/grunge isn't my fav by a long shot, but some how it works well with pirates.
And you got to love the lyrics.

Lyrics:
This captain goes down with the ship,
All hands on decks, stand hip to hip.
I shout the order, shoot to kill.
(I'm dressed to thrill, I'm dressed to thrill)

And all my enemies,
I want their eyes to see,
Their captain walked the plank,
(Destroy them rank by rank)

Sail with me, into the setting sun,
The battle has been won, but war has just begun.
And as we grow, emotion starts to die.
We need to find a way, just to keep our desire alive.

Now set the sail to quarter mast,
Well jump their ship we'll sink 'em fast.
Men follow me to victory,
[Red is the sea, Red is the sea.]

And to the cannons roar,
Their bodies dance ashore,
(A pirates life for me,
we wont go quietly)

Sail with me, into the setting sun,
The battle has been won, but war has just begun.
And as we grow, emotion starts to die.
We need to find a way, just to keep our desire alive.

(And to my damsel in distress,)
(You've made a mess of your new dress,)
(You've made a mess of your new dress,)
(You've made a (mess)

<div>So I was checking out my profile -- really who looks at your profile more then you? Be honest...
So I was checking out my profile and I realized that I have 33 friends (loved)
Then I realized I have 66 photos cool.
Then I looked back on my home page and saw that I have checked out 765 profiles AND no one has looked at my profile (other then myself) since 3:33AM this morning

So lets look at the number 765 (apart from being cool) adds up to 18 can be devided by 3 eight times
3:33 is just full of 3s
so is 33
and 66 is just a hop-skip in with 3s going into it 22 times.

needless to say: I feel pretty *primed*

<div>I've been looking all over for more places I can sing at and I found one or two, but it was a lot of work and I'm thinking communication needs to improve!

So here I am!

Check out the new Tribe for people that want to sing and want to know places they can just show up and sing: Free Range Singing ! http://tribes.tribe.net/freerangesinging

I would bumbard you all with invites (and I may later) but I think I'll let you come to terms with the fact that you want to join on your own...you know you want to. Or you know someone that you know wants to. You know, you know. You know?

<div>Alright. Screaming to the universe.

I added a word to my firefox addon spell checker thingy.
Easy to do if you know the addon.
But this is a Mac and as many of you know -- I'm pretty PC (I am too!)

So I found this: http://lifehacker.com/software/dictionary/remove-misspelled-words-from-your-firefox-dictionary-244497.php

But there is no Firefox folder in my Appication Support Folder in my Library Folder....

!!! Grr !!!

Alright.

Going for Chi and then to the costume shop.

Thanks in advance for the help.
First one to give me the answer is my hero of the day.
Ready? GO!</div>

    </a>
<div>Yesterday I was chatting with a friend of mine:
"It's so easy to look at the shit in your life -- we all have shit." She explained "Go up to anyone and ask 'what's your shit today?' and they will give you at least three things. Like you" meaning me "Your in tech all day, your sick, your tired, your not getting payed enough... that's four right there."

I retored with a smile on my face, "Yep. But I also *get* to be at work today, have been *not sick*, got tired doing things I find fun, with people I like, and even though it's raining and my head hurts, it's a lovely day."

And it was.

The show went FANTASTICALLY last night -- opening is tonight (sold out).

I hope you are all warm and cozy or cold and having fun.

										<div>Tribe formating question:

Alright. I got new pictures -- I want parts of them as icons. When I try to crop image or set any image as a thumb nail the icon is no longer cropped but is the whole bloody pic...

Any hits? Is this something only "premium" people can do now? </div>

Attachment = Suffering

<a href="http://people.tribe.net/stardustsweeper/blog/b619e001-55b6-4fc5-b858-7a4d3708a79b"> <img class=" picThumb" src="http://images.tribe.net/tribe/upload/photo/ed7/534/ed753443-5a48-4ba1-9745-d52c6f57ca8a.thumb" width="65" height="48" alt="" />
    </a>
										<div>Everyday is a "good" day.
Every moment is here and now.
When you experience something regardless of the label of "good" or "bad" -- it is an experience.
Think of a moment or a situation you did not like and think about the possibly of never feeling it at all.
Take it all in and feel
That you are indeed feeling.

Be grateful in that.

Remember also that the root of all suffering is actually attachment.
Not "bad" things happening to "good" people.
Not things going "wrong".
Attachment to an idea, an object, a concept, a dream, a desire, a method of being, a goal.
When you lose these things or realize that you will not ALWAYS "have" these things, etc. -- you suffer.
(1/12) Instead of experiencing what you are having in the here and now.

If you let go of these notions and are not attached to them, but experience these, more than attach to them; suffering is no longer in play.

There always will be pain, but the prolongness of that pain (suffering) is only when you hold on.

....

Now with that in mind: What if the hockypocky is what it is all about?

<div>Want FREE ticket(s)? Too bad gone!

I really-really-really wanted to go to Dickens fair.
Hell if I had the days off I might have even worked it.
But I can't -- I have work every blessed weekend at A.C.T.'s "A Christmas Carol".
Ah, but let us not think too much on what cannot be -- at least not right now.

The tasty salt in the wounds is that, last night, Scroogy himself was at the Plough handing out FREE tickets.

Profit from me being at the right place. I can't go with you, but you could.

Currently have no (ZERO) tickets up for GRABS
-- FREE -- for DEC 1st or 2nd
That's right five tickets disappear that fast!
*(These tickets are also good for Half-price admission Dec. 8,9,15,15,22, or 23 -- so $11 bucks off there!)

I can drop them off after work (aka after 9pm) if you are an east bayer.
Or SFer can meet up with me somewhere Downtown after 8pm.

First contact first get.
