My grandfather passed away yesterday. It was somewhat sudden, but expected. He had needed a triple bypass for over a year, but was much too weak to survive the surgery, so was simply made as comfortable as possible at home. I was lucky enough in...

--I have a strong penchant for high adrenaline experiences, such as bungee jumping, sky diving, and standing really close to the edges of cliffs, otherwise known to my parents as a death wish :) --I took Tae Kwon Do for five years before college. And I kind of miss being a bad ass. --I have only broken ONE bone, and that was my big toe, at my very first wildfire. --My hair has been almost every natural hair color known to man. The weather gods have decided to grace us with a ridiculously nice weekend in just a few days. By ridiculously nice, I mean upper 70’s, low 80’s, and lots of sun. I refuse, REFUSE, to let yet another weekend go by without doing stuff outdoors!! So who has some ideas? Be it spinning, burning, picnicking, barbequing, hiking, SOMETHING. My back yard is a parking lot (and almost always full…) so hosting is a problem for me. Anyone else have space, or an idea, or plan about how to celebrate...

Does anyone have, or know of, a room that might be available during that time, that would ideally be near public transportation, and be an actual room, instead of just couch space? He doesn't have a work permit, so can't shell out a *ton* of money for rent, but he's quite friendly, and some rent for a spare room would be better than none, right? :)...
