Stephanie is as much fun to be around in person, as she is through her posts and blogs on Tribe. I laughed my heart out Memorial Day week end and I look forward to seeing her again!

I'm stuck in the house because we are up to our asses in snow that is STILL coming down. I really, REALLY wanted to get out today. Alone. I NEEDED to get out today. It's not supposed to stop until 7pm, and we are to have 12" of this shit before it stops. Plus there are wind gusts up to 900 miles an hour that make it impossible to see.

Crap. I don't even have any liquor in the house.
I haven't been on Tribe in quite some time, so I thought I would give a short update on my world in case anyone's wondering....

**Rocklahoma was great...if I had went by myself. **No work has been done on the house AT ALL. And now ALL the floors are caving in. **Stepdaughter that moved in with us in January has been causing all kinds of problems, including telling people that I am on drugs (which I am not), stealing money from me, getting drunk & not coming home, and...she flunked 10th grade, and... I just found out she's pregnant. Mind you, this is not NEARLY a complete list. **Because of issues with stepdaughter, Bob & I are at each other's throat. I am to the point of moving out. **My job sucks (yeah I know...that's not NEW news) But, now the company's going under financially. I would list something good, but I really can't think of anything.
Well I know I haven't been around much lately, been crazy in my world.....but I just had to tell you all this:

Janice Rolfe, 62, also had been cited for illegally providing a shelter to an animal, in this case a cat she calls Fluffy. The retired schoolteacher said she learned she was in the doghouse when she got a call from a police officer in this Columbus suburb Dec. 13. In his report, officer Shane O'Connor said earlier that day he observed Rolfe parking her car and walking into woods near a highway, where he saw her leaving a plastic dish of food for a cat living in a ditch. O'Connor reported that after the woman drove off, he found a wooden box in the ditch containing more plastic dishes. Rolfe said she saw Fluffy being dumped from a car five years ago and has been bringing food several times a week, and also had a friend build what she referred to as a "cat condo." If she didn't already have three others, Rolfe said she would take the cat home. Neighbor Mark Serrott, a lawyer and cat owner, agreed to represent her. In Hilliard Mayor's Court on Wednesday, he said the city's ban on shelter for animals pertains to livestock, not cats, and argued that putting food out for a feline is not littering. Prosecutor Kelleen Roth agreed to dismiss the case, saying the city didn't want to discourage people from looking out for animals. Police Chief Rodney Garnett said he hadn't had an opportunity to ask O'Connor about the case but said the officer was right to investigate, indicating that a woman walking into the woods with a package would seem suspicious. "He wrote the citation certainly within his discretion. Could there have been a better course of action? I think probably there could have been, to just ask her to knock it off," Garnett said, adding that the area is one in which police have received numerous complaints about wild, of feral, cats. A voicemail message seeking comment was left Thursday for O'Connor.
