Well my slacker time is over now. It was fun while it lasted but I am happy to get back to work. I can only spend so much time around the house playing Guitar Hero. Tomorrow I start with Sportnet.com, a division of Wasserman Media Group. I had never really heard of them before but when a group of us went and saw Juno, there was an advert for them before the movie. I had a pretty good feeling from then on that things would work out as they have.

So Monday was an interesting day. It started out normal enough, I got up, got dressed, got on BART, you know, no big whoop. But it all changed once I got into the office. As soon as I get in, I get pulled into a meeting (which I knew couldn't be good) and was informed that the company was going to do a round of layoffs. Then I see that I am on that list. CRAP! This of course makes me sad, not only because I am suddenly unemployed but also that I really liked the people that I worked for...

In light of these changes I decided that it would be a great time to make another change so I decided to cut my hair. Its been about 12 years of more since I have cut this length of hair off. I decided to donate the hair to locks of love so that some good may come of it. No pictures of what I look like now. You will just have to see for yourself.

So some long periods of discussion and planning have manifested themselves in sudden and significant change in my life. Maria and I have moved out of our old house and moved into our own place. While Maria may be somewhat used to moving around a lot, I have lived at the same house for about 9 years so this is coming at somewhat of a shock to me. In addition to all the usual stress and packing and moving which was to be expected I have also had just a crazy ass week.

Where do i start? I have know Draven for over ten years, after a while I can't tell from my own relatives. We have been through some really rough and amazing times, From Marring David and Me, to lossing My Mom so suddenly only a couple months later. It's been real a hell of a ride, I can't wait to see the photos @ the end when we get off!
