Well, I feel it should be known, Jeanie is a good friend to have. If you love faire, she will get you involved and excited about every minute of it. She so full of love for faire and it is absolutely Contagious when you are around her. She inspires people to really get involved and take part and to come out of their shells. She is one of a kind.

I am Troupe mistress of St. Valerius Troupe of Actors and Other Such Nonsense. We are a Non Profit Auxiliary of Shasta County Arts Council here in Redding California and are geared to educating the community and schools through Workshops and with Living History Performances of many different eras. We perform for many occassions and hold an annual Masquerade Ball to benefit Families of children with special needs. This year we are donating all proceeds to 'Make A Wish Foundation'.
I am also a doula (birth support). Doulas help to empower women and their families to be stronger family units through knowledge, love, and support before, during and after birth~ I have the most beautiful group of men in my life...my husband Soren, and my two boys Rutger and Malcolm. They are my sun, my moon, and my stars! I am truly Blessed with the most wonderful family and friends in the whole universe....and then some~

tribes.tribe.net/stvalerius We had fun~ Like usual ;-) Looking forward to going to a couple faires this year and being with you whom we love so dearly!!!!...we most likely will be going as street performers (without the tavern...due to lack of trailer). 
This past weekend we were invited down to a Renaissance Symposium to perform for their Saturday evening dinner party. It took me a few days to confirm that, indeed, enough of my players could be there. By the time I responded, the theme of the dinner had been change from bacchanalia to Big Band Swing, of all things (I found that ironic since we are swinging in our own space and time). So, we had to contemporize and that we did very well in my book!

We celebrate it so, I will share a bit about this tradition~ Boxing Day Only a few countries celebrate Boxing Day, which takes place on 26th December. It started in the UK about 800 years ago in the middle Ages. On this day, Alms boxes were opened and the money distributed to the poor of the community. Jeanie is sweetness personified. I haven’t met Jeanie outside of tribe yet, but I hope that one day we can get together in the real world and ride the trains with our little boys!
