News and Updates

After many months and many miles, I find myself returning to this space, much changed and slightly worn. But better for the wear, I believe. Of the many changes in my life, geography is but one. I am now fully inclined towards the gypsy lifestyle, with no homebase, but the earth beneath me. I have many exciting stories to tell and pictures to share and will do my best to provide them soon. Stay tuned for more!!!

And just so you know, after much thought, I've realized that the rest of the world is more friendly with myspace, so I've decided to spend more of my energy there. you can see what I am up to and hear some recordings from recent shows at www.myspace.com/thesumiracleshow

see you here, there or somewhere...

Sumir doesn't write poetry.
For years now he pines the loss
of words, mourning the death of
an image of a poet, and all
the while he is dancing in prose
so eloquent his human eyes can not see

He humbly asks the Optometrist
for a pair of prescription glasses.
