On February 16, I'm going to pull the door of my Uhaul shut and start my cross country drive to Los Angeles! I'll be living in Venice Beach, six blocks from the beach, and continuing to work for my current employer (the Marijuana Policy Project). I'm going out there to be closer to a stellar guy I've been dating for almost a year and a half (and enriching various airlines in the meantime), and to start a new life in a more laid back, freakier place. I won't be the only freak! Dude, I'll be hanging out, hooping and rollerskating like a fiend down at the beach. I can't wait!!! Washington, D.C.: smell ya later!

Seriously, though, I have thoroughly enjoyed my time on the East Coast, and would not be the person I am today if it weren't for a lot of you wonderful freaks I've spent unforgettable times with during the past few years. DC has definitely been a formidable era of my life. I went from Mrs. Uppity corporate bitch with no real hobbies or personal interests to speak of (except for playing soccer, which I can't do anymore due to playing soccer (and fucking up my left knee repeatedly)) to (unmarried) Lovering-Skid-Inspyra, fire performing, marijuana law reforming, hooping instructor, vegan, laughing life-loving woman extraordinaire. Life is good! If you ever come out to LA, please contact me and we'll hang out.
