I am a mother of 3, a Birthing From Within trained Mentor, and a Doula. I am an advocate of choices in childbirth and believe that if you do not know your options, you don't have any. I am in the process of creating workshops to support healing women who have experienced trauma in childbirth. I have seen a lot of beauty in birth, unfortunately I have seen a lot of violation of the sacredness of birth, and choose to empower the women that I support to be active in their decisions. I feel blessed to be able to do what I do, that families choose me to be part of their experience.
I am also a student midwife and will begin an apprenticeship soon.
I grew up in Haleiwa, Hawaii in a glorious setting. My family is native Hawaiian. I believe in the sacredness of tradition and honoring the primitive. So much is lost and preserving it is of utmost importance. I believe that creating new traditions and integrading the ancient is the way.
I currently reside in San Diego, also a beautiful city.
My life is rich, and full of beautiful souls.
