I say I like to write but I haven't written anything of note in ages. Purple has been my favorite color since I was a little kid. I had braces twice (my orthodontist said I have a muscular tongue). I have two sisters, one brother, and one bonus brother, but I'm the only child of my parents and I'm 9 years older than the next ones to come along. I was a band geek and even in the orchestra, from junior high through college...flute first, then moved and took over the percussion section YAY. I love to cook. My husband is a better cook than I am. I love to eat. I got my first tattoo when I was 30. My favorite numbers are 17 and 33, in that order. I was 21 when Jordan was born. My favorite holidays are Halloween and New Year's Eve, which is also my anniversary. I'm almost two years older than my husband. Tim and I got together as a result of being fixed up by his mom. I was salutatorian of my high school class. I usually don't feel old. I'm chronically late (but no longer in denial, so maybe there's hope...). My favorite flowers are daisies and sunflowers, and I also love tulips. If I could get away with it I would wear fairy wings every day, however glitter must suffice. Jordan is a guitar/bass/mando prodigy and a freaking genius (no, really). I was a cheerleader (yeah, really). I have PKD, so did my dad, so does my baby. I miss my dad more than I could ever possibly express. I love love love to read. I sing alto. I wish I didn't suck at playing guitar but not enough to make myself freaking practic. I'm extremely flexible. I love artichokes and avocados (not together). I think Bush should be punished severely and banished from his kingdom. I think the revolution might be televised after all. All four of my tattoos are daisies. I'm pretty lazy. Someday I WILL live in the mountains. My husband is a supa-dupa mountain biker, longboarder and snowboarder. I have three awesome cats (KC, Jack, and Fleck). I like to snow ski, or at least I did the last time I tried (been a few years, is it like riding a bike? haha). I adore Winnie the Pooh and all his friends (yes, even Rabbit). Jordan and I have the same eyes and they are darkest brown like black coffee. I smile a lot. Sometimes the light at the end of the tunnel isn't an altogether welcome sight. I miss California. I rarely wear gold and am not a fan of diamonds. I love parentheses (oh yes I do). My middle name is Clarisse.
