<div>Just got done using the Mormon family search website....Grandparents, important folks all on the same pages of deceased SS files bound up in Cyber space. Very wierd. Anyone who was born and died on US soil is in there plus entries from thousands of other data banks worldwide...I feel very happy to be here.
Happy 4th of July everyone...have a blast!!</div>

    </a>
										<div>The follwing refers to dating and relationships not the casual hookup....
I sincerely believe meeting someone for the first time live and in person is the only way to go. With the first online email contact a strange feeling resonates and the mind creates what is not there-even in the most grounded thinkers. When the first contact entails live interaction at a store, park, train station or event etc its like a different universe-nothing feels jaded or contrived. What can really be left after internet auditions via pix exchanges? What about 'order of operations?' you should get a phone number AFTER you meet a gal not before.
I feel Tribe is at least partially exempt because we showcase our favorite subjects, personalities in such a varied format. You can also see how your fellow tribester treats others whom they may be less interested in or just how affable they may or may not be in everyday banter. Generally it just does not feel like a dating site, even when you get hit on.

    </a>
										<div>I was watching my four year old charge, Elliot, yesterday who surely must be one of the all time greatest kids-though all the kids I watch are! This little guy is so easy comical AND very caring and is instantly everybody's friend. His parents are awesome and he has a great older sister who always loks out for him.
Anyway, he picked up a guitar that was missing a string when i was with him yesterday afternoon and started singing this new song he made up:
"You in the outside world
Who trues to live the cowboy life
It's not easy-if you're not a man about it"
It was so profound!!!

I remember my mom letting me have this empty book that I filled with little pictures and my own hippie poems, all kids need that freedom to create. I've had him everyday this week as his mom is away so this was a great experience as its been a while since I did a consecutive daily job like this.
Elliot and I are also really getting into Marvel Comics and we love 'The Thing.' A great way to get the new Burger King kids meal toys of the Fantastic Four is to buy the kids meal keep the toy , eat three of four fries and give the rest to a homeless person.

BTW: The beautiful cat is Ceasar who belongs to SF/Bay Area music phenom Ricky Robinson. C is so amazingly long and talkative. His abs are like a sheath of muscle from all the jumping he does. He is also known to me as 'Blacula' or 'Blackenstein.'
Black cats have a very important place in my heart, C has secured the pinnacle !

    </a>
										<div>you know I actually very happy for him and his lovely Katie lass. I mean how many people go crazy in love anymore? But he's acting like he's on some ultra high shot caffeine spiel binge of 'I'm gonna prove it to everyone and really show em!!'
Now he just freaked out on the red carpet because someone taunted him for being an over indulgent idiot by putting a microphone that squirted water in his face!!
Plus he's been dissing Pretty Baby....
In a recent interview, a very outspoken Cruise criticized actress friend Brooke Shields for using the anti-depressant Paxil to help combat her post-partum depression after the birth of her daughter, Rowan. Cruise claimed the drug use was "misguided" and that Shields' career was over.
Cruise, who is a big Scientology supporter and believer, believes that Shields should have used vitamins to help cure her depression. He said during an interview, "Here is a woman, and I care about Brooke Shields because I think she is an incredibly talented woman. You look at it, where has her career gone?" Ouch, Tom.

Shields' recently bit back at the Top Gun actor and called his comments "dangerous," while also commenting on his Scientology beliefs saying, she "wouldn't take advice from someone who devotes his life to creatures from outer space." Said Shields of her former pal, "His comments are dangerous. He should stick to saving the world from aliens." Hmmm, this could get ugly. </div>

Dream about Rachael Erickson Esquire and me

    </a>
										<div>I was housesitting for Dylan after a long time away from Santa Rosa. After meeting the other nanny, talking to Dylan, playing a card game with Dylan and his parents etc we all went out to dinner in what looked like some very chic downtown area. Rachael and I end up together . Walking chatting having fun in this very, very lovely downtown area of Oakland/Piedmont. As we walked with another girl, I went up the stairs of a dark nice two level apartment that was in a semi wooded area.

I had been wondering if **** was home and had remembered looking in a direction that I thought his place was in prior to walking up the stairs. I was attacked on the stairs by a big guy who was very darkly dressed. It was attempted rape. We all fought him off but it was the unamed friend who helped. Rachael and I ran and the guy came after us. A hair salon was closing up and let us in. Unlocking and locking the door in time for our safety . We were able to call 911 and then take off after the attempted rapist and get down the liscense plate number of the SUV he stole. He had seen me with my head down feeling sad when I had realized that **** was not home and had probably left for the summer. Although I was standing on someone else's staircase not ****'s.
Rachael and I ended up in the very expensive hair salon run by an East Indian family and stayed there for awhile. I explained to her that this was more like a meeting/community center than a salon despite who insanely nice the interior was.The place was like a luxury spa.
We left again , safely guided by a kindly waspy resident who showed us a staircase that would take us into day light. Rachael and I held hands. I wanted to make sure that she knew that we would always be friends and that we'd always be there for each other and that ten years apart had not meant anything.
She was coming back to Dylan's house to stay for a few days with me while I house sat. The residential stairs were very dark but the woman lit it for us even offering to open the doors to another home that would take us closer to Piedmont and an area that I knew to be safe.
Rachael ended up driving us away from the very wealthy neighborhood on the hill were we were attacked. The car swearved here and there as we came down the hill into Lake Merrit but we were never in danger of an accident. All around Lake Merritt people were out, the sun was very bright. I was describing to Rachael how the person that saved us was like Uma in Kill Bill if you added fifty pounds of pure muscle. We stopped outside The Alley Cat in Oakland which had these strange cheesy robotic model like art sculptures to celebrate a 'fetish exhibit.' We sat in the parked car outside and realized that as sexy as rape has sounded that the real attempt at one was about as awful as it gets.
I was actually surprised a bit in the dream by this revelation. Rachael mentioned that she had a busy week ahead and that she'd be getting back to Dylans late in the day from her law offices but would still like to stay over.

This has been a very relaxing summer so far. Being on public transit has actually been enjoyable with every crazy I meet. Walking up into the hills by Skyline is actually more of a risk what with no side walks and teenagers in speeding Delorians...</div>

										<div>Hmmm...today Jasper and I made 'deleted scenes' for our 'Blob Of Clay' movie. The playdough people ended up in a totem pole multi-colored goo pile. The movie is based on the life of a 1970's public service anouncement clay man/thing/blob that had rebuffed sensible warnings against eating sweets and then melted in to a liquified pile saying 'what do they know?Uhhhhhhaaawwee....'
