Well, we opened the store today! All in all, it didn't go too badly. The credit card system was not working, and of course the company isn't open on the weekend. But we didn't have to turn anyone away because of that. The shipment of games didn't come in until 3PM yesterday, but we managed to be able to get just about everything scanned in today (I think we have a bunch of card protectors left to do and just a couple of games). AAAAARG!! The store opens on Saturday... they are just finishing the floor today... the merchandise hasn't arrived yet (which is actually a good thing as we have no place to put it and my living room is already full of stuff for the store)... and I'm getting a nasty cold virus.

But I'll be able to calm down once this is all over... and start worrying about other things...

So, my husband (and I) are taking the plunge and signing our life away and opening a store. Well, it's not so bad as that. We will both be working our jobs (more or less) and we only got a home equity loan that actually has a lower interest rate than our other loan. And yet, it is a scary undertaking!
