The Vision is about creating a sustainable way of life in Intentional Communities and EcoVillages around the world, from building Passive Solar Homes that Hug the Earth and fit well into the landscape, to using Solar Power, Wind and Hydro to power them and raising our children in a clean and renewable manner. Each community will be like a Tree. Each Tree will grow up to become a part of the Emerald Forest.

Using natural and alternative building materials, having good land we can grow our own food on, using what we have learned from the Permaculture Design Course, using composting toilets, putting our water back into the soil. Creating a place where children can grow up happy and well balanced in a natural environment.

We share in the creation of a new vision

We are proud to welcome all others in the global community to
join us in creating the Kindred Spirits of the Emerald Forest of
which the Eden project is just one small part.
All are welcome to come who come in good spirit.
This is just one small branch on a very big Tree.
All friendly voices do need to be heard and there is a place for all
that is good and right to be included.
We will meet right out in front of the
Jack London Lodge restaurant area right in the middle
of the tiny town Glen Ellen and that is just about 45 miles
north of the golden gate bridge.
One topic will be the significance of the spirit of place that all
people have been wrestling with, and how we connect up into community.
Who are we in relation to our place and our community
and how to do we sustain that and leave something to future
generations.
Just a friendly gathering of Kindred Spirits working towards a
collective vision of an Earth Restored and a World at Peace in all
different ways.
It's all to be Positive and Constructive.
