I find it appalling that Cartier is sponsoring , paying for a game of elephant polo in the city of Jaipur, India.
Elephants who take part in these games do not do so voluntarily, but are forced to . Please cancel this event. This is not something which they will be proud of, it is not glamourous. therse days elephants in zoos are getting stories in the news because of the deaths so attention here would be negative.. Thank you SUVINE

This is good but...
I believe business jewlelry companies help promote what ends up being conflict (or blood) diamonds, either directly or indirectly.
If you don't know what I'm talking about, it's where people are enslaved, hurt, and families tortured or mamed, just to bring western civilization pretty trinkets, ie diamonds. There is a tribe on this topic that I host: tribes.tribe.net/conflictdiamonds |
