Re: my favorite cookies. . .

I'm excited, I'm going to a Trader Joes for the very first time this coming week. I will look for the nuts and dried fruits you mentioned. I assume they are sold separately?
Re: Dandruff problem
(in dreadlocks)
I had the same thing happen a while back after changing shampoos. I went on line the www.lush.com and bought their soak and float shampoo bar. It smells to high heaven but definitely took care of my problem. In fact I keep a bar on hand "just in...

Re: Curtural Appropriation?????
(in DreadTribe)
I have always wanted dreads and having very thick curly hair, if I wasn't careful, it would start to dread on it's own. It's funny, that was one of my concerns when I did dread, what African American people would say/think. What's ironic is wher...

Re: my cat is fucking insane
(in The Foul, Drunk & Hostile Bellydancer)
Allison & Trista~ one of our cats does the same thing with flip flops. Until recently we lived on our boat and used the marina showers. I had special "shower shoes" but my husband just wore his flip flops. As soon as he would get back on the boa...

about me
Getting ready to make a major lifestyle change. After almost 8 years of living on a 36' sailboat I am ready to become a cliff dweller again. Unfortunately my hubby isn't so ready; not such how that is going to evolve. Done with tattooing, I think for good. Enough is finally enough. Starting to writing again both for my soul and for profit. Experienced enough of "other cultures" while living in the Keys so have no desire to leave the States for a while.

Pros: Holds over 200 titles..no more bags of books stashed all over the boat. Can have a new best selling book sent to the device in less than 60 seconds. Uses a type of cell phone signal so no wifi connection is required unless I am out of the country. Very user friendly. Also can read newspapers, magazines and blogs thru it. Seems to have a fairly extensive selection ... read more
I am LOVING the new James Hunter CD. I can't just play it once; I have to listen to it over and over.

Today I ran errands ending up at the grocery store. After checking out I was juggling my wallet, grocery bags and a cup of coffee. Some how I lost a bank envelope with about $60 in it.

It was about 2 hours after I got home that I realized it was gone. I called the store, then drove back up there. The manager reviewed the security tape and said he didn't see that it had been left at the check-out counter. That means it was left in the seat of the grocery cart. I put the cart back in the cor... read more
They scabbed up and all the ink came off with the scab. He didn't go deep enough. I now have to wait 2 weeks until they are entirely healed up so he can redo them.

The guy did an awesome job...they aren't perfect but then "real" eyebrows aren't either. The attached photo is pretty good...the right one really isn't as skimpy and light toward the end as the photo makes it out to be. It was pretty cool...very little bleeding...no bandages...didn't hurt except when he went over some scar tissue I have above one eye...not suppose to be any scabbing...all I have to do is use Tattoo Goo for a couple of days and wash and moistu... read more
