For those of you who don't know I will be displaying my photography and shooting in Michigan next month. I will post another entry to clear up all the emails I have been getting, but for now I am exhausted. I am laying naked with 2 cats and futurama on TV sifting through the 700gig worth of images I took last year. Mad props to Crystal who is putting this all together. I am thinking about separating the images into 3 categories a)Artsy b)Portrait c)Dance. That should cover all my bases. No more thinking tonight.... Just watch Bender and go to my happy place... Photo Bliss-HDR

I have been putting it off for way too long. I finally started learning HDR. Basically you take 3 images: 1 Normal exposure, 1 overexposed (2 stops) and 1 under exposed (2 stops). Then you take all 3 images and mix them together for a super insane image. The colors, highlights and shadows are so detailed. I can't wait to play around with this technique during my next model photo shoot (probably sunday). Hope everyone is doing well :)

Thank you for the emails, but no I am OK I have just been working a lot. Still editing away from my stay in Pittsburgh awhile back. I take a break every so often so I don't stab myself in the head. I have actually only had 2 shoots since then. My main job has me running around quite a bit. Well, its almost been a week and I've got about 100 basic edits finished. The plan is to get 100 more then I will start doing the fine edits with my favorites. SIfting Sifting Sifting through the bagazillion images all these funny moments keep popping up in my head. I don't think I realized at the time how much fun I actually had until today. Here I sit in Pittsburgh with only 2 shoots left to do and I am just about wiped out. I am floored with how many images I have to sort through and can't believe I will ever be finished. I have shot over 120 gig worth of images and I still need to get out to DC before I finish with this project. So far this is the only shot I could bring myself to quickly edit before I fall asleep and start up with the last two shoots. My band had practice for a show coming up and I am really happy with the way it went last night. My fingers are killing me though, I really should be playing a lot more than I have been. I spend so much time editing photos I am having trouble bablacing my time. Work has been super busy as well. I realize I am still not working half as much as most people, but you have to understand I am very spoiled. I can't believe how hard I slept last night. It was the equivilant of a good cry. What was nice was waking up just in time to see "The Tick" this morning. That show still cracks me up. Last night I had a shoot with a model I have worked with a few times before. Although my heart wasn't totally in it I am happy with some of the rough edits I have done (in my gallery). I have about 14 models lined up for the next 2-3 weeks and I am excited to see how this will unfold. Once I am finished with these scheduled shoots I am gonna concenrate on the two projects I have open. I am really excited about the dance one. It will be nice to move away from models for awhile and get back to shooting performers as well as friends. I don't think I wanna go over a year without seeing all my Tribe/Pennsic friends. Special thoughts going out to Master commander Jenn and the loss of her Mother.

When I woke up this morning I didn't want to open my eyes because I was afraid I wouldn't see the ocean. I had the most beautiful dream last night of being underwater with my body being pushed along by a gentle current. I got a full 8 hours of well rested sleep and now I need to go to work. I think the majority of today will involve a lot of daydreaming.

Here is a picture of the last thing my camera saw when I was in Mexico. I did something extremely stupid and did not check 1 of the 2 seals that protect my underwater camera. I have officially learned my lesson. When I go back I will hopefully think a little more. Oh, I will go back. I often find myself thinking of Cozumel. The water, food and people were SO fucking amazing. I didn't think any place could be as fun and relaxed as ST. Croix, but I was wrong. Time to plan my next trip.

I got a call this morning from Jenn that she was going to France and I should try and join her on the trip. It would have cost me NOTHING (except for gifts-because I am so sweet) Well, it looked as if the flight was overbooked by about 30 seats so I opted out. I then found out later that there were 8 seats open!!! I could be in Paris right now! Instead I am at home... editing pictures playing "Lair" (PS3)-which is a very hard game to play after finishing BioShock. There is no excuse for a superior console to have such crappy Graphics (I am talking to you PS3!!!!) I should be near that BFT (big fucking tower) eating pastries and fucking stinky bitches! Thats what I get for not taking a risk! I should sleep...

I hope everyone out there had a good time. I can't say I wish I went. I heard the weather was pretty bad and for those of you who know me, spent any time in my house, bed or tent you know...I hate the heat!!!! I did miss seeing everyone and can't imagine missing it next year, although... Cozumel was AMAZING!!!!! The water was crystal clear. I did have my share of problems, but it was worth it to see the beauty of Mexico. Hopefully I will go back for my birthday.
