AAAhhh.... How do I start?? The Most Amazing , Beautiful Woman Ever!!! Lulie is an exceptional human being, she impacted on my life in ways I cannot even begin to describe... a chickie with grace, style and wisdom to boot. This women is a role model for all! She's a creative soul, who's dedication to her trade, makes her thank you;.."Thanks again for the on playa forgiveness"; when in reality, you are damn, " did she really bring her sewing machine to the playa? and, after doing a ranger shift, did she really just spend the last hour of her time just hooking me the F~~K up with the fur?"

Never thought I would say that-- I told her she was a bit early for the big event a few miles down the road....!
Since my fathers passing in November she has been adjusting to single life, and her sister , 73 year old Sharon, has been a constant companion.

I began getting healthy for the first time in my life really, in December.
I stopped eating sugar, cleaned up and simplified my diet, and added a couple hard workouts to my week.
I got a great Burner workout partner (thanks Andrea!) and an amazing Burner Trainer ( Michael Antonopolous) and a burly Burner massage therapist (Barry). They needed a furry coat, I needed them-- kismet!

So, its been a rather stressful year, without me really noticing it. I listed all that happened this year, and gasped at the non stop nature of it. And it took its toll.
After chest pains and a complete tummy shutdown last week, I limped into my GP and nutritionist . Many expensive heart tests later ( all showed near perfect health there, thank Geebus) I am happy to have the thumbs up in that department. Hey All,
I'm up in Seattle with my family as my Dad is finally , gently, taking leave of this world.
He is in the best hospice ever-- family members that used this facility for thier folks come back to volunteer, it's such a great place full of great staff and sweet atmosphere.
I am astounded by the kindness and expertise of the staff, and thier good humor. They love thier jobs and every person they serve there is treated like they are thier own.
