Derek is just an all around stand up guy, except when he sits down. No seriously though, he's good people, smarter than he gives himself credit for and a loyal friend, glad to know him I consider him one of my adopted brothers.

you have the kindest, sweetest most sincere soul i have been blessed to know in a really long time. you balance wisdom with innocence and a constant desire to learn and grow. a mind never static, ever searching and wondering - usually about random weird shit. you root for the sith and i know would be frelling ace tie pilot. you make ninja's look good. you slaughter ice hockey players before breakfast and then light my cigarette. you make me smile like an idiot and oh the giggling......how you manage to make me so damn happy i have no clue. could be that dark force ninja mojo at work.....
