Used to be on Tribe as "chivalreuse", now as "Sword-Dancer" - it's a bellydance thing. I'm Laurie, of Dark Knights. (Dark Knights was, and may again be, if I decide to start having parties again at some point, a play party group of some reknown which began before most people were on the Internet and ran for 10 years. You can check out this url for the philosophy of my parties: www.chaosmedia.com/guest/What_is_DK.html Disregard the event calendar though - it's out of date! (And btw - I'm not a Domme/Top/Mistress - thanks anyway!)

Re: How many dominants would be interested in objectification girls who were not allowed sex acts? (in Master's Den) I'm surprised that there aren't a lot of dominants jumping at this chance... I thought the whole problem with dominant non-participation *was* the objectified submissives who were offering sex acts? I.e., the submissives who have been offered for... read more

Kinky Salon info? (See, someone suggested......) (in Bent) ...that it might be the venue of choice for this fantasy that I posted on "Gang bang girls".

Could anybody give me info?

Many thanks,

I found my sword! and...1001?!! But mainly, I found my sword! I found my sword! (blog entry) See, I own a number of swords, some for fencing with, some for playing pirate with, and two for dancing. One is my Rakkashah sword, made for belly dancing - a show sword, shiny and fancy looking, real, but without a sharp edge. Though it's just ... read more

I did it! (Sang at my brother's wedding) (blog entry) So, I sang at my little brother's wedding, and it went very well; people seem to like the lyrics I wrote, and I pulled off a decent performance. I got to meet my brother's fiancé's family, (her parents are from Iran) - all very intelligent, warm, ... read more

My Blog

See, I own a number of swords, some for fencing with, some for playing pirate with, and two for dancing. One is my Rakkashah sword, made for belly dancing - a show sword, shiny and fancy looking, real, but without a sharp edge. Though it's just as tricky to balance on your head edge-on, and you could probably actually kill someone with it, you wouldn't ever use it in a fight - it's essentially a prop.

Then there's my scimitar. It was purchased for me as a gift the last year that Renaiss... read more

So, I sang at my little brother's wedding, and it went very well; people seem to like the lyrics I wrote, and I pulled off a decent performance. I got to meet my brother's fiancé's family, (her parents are from Iran) - all very intelligent, warm, and sweet. The ceremony was a Persian/American Oreo cookie...a creamy traditional Persian ceremony center, with crispy western-officiant-led outsides book-ending the Zorastrean/ Muslim ceremony.

I'm afraid I gave the final wedding toast of the ni... read more

The Expected Things

At the funeral home, I answered questions...
this, for the death certificate
that, for the obituary -
how, in one paragraph, do you sum
a person's life?
I chose the cover of the registry - trees and a pond;
I cho... read more

I hear your voice in my head
as if you stood behind me, close enough to stroke my cheek
as if I could lean my head along your arm, as your fingertips reached out;
I imagine living with you,
hearing your voice at the end of the day, your turns of phrase
drifting into my ears, the rhythm of your breath
next to me in bed, as you slept.
What life would that be
if yours were the body beside me in the dark,
the arms wrapped around me
when I needed comfort, the legs rubbing lazily

He carefully removes each item of her clothing
as if unwrapping a gift.
He kisses her neck, and
she realizes that
for the past fifteen years
the one she lives with has not once undressed her,
has only waited under the covers
for her to come naked to bed,
like a box of cornflakes or some other dry staple,
taken down off the shelf occasionally, then
less often than that, when annual winds
kindle a taste for her.
And she thinks:
I am raspberries...or a pomegranate,
