Tendrils of the dark
I once read somewhere that we are truly perfect beings, and that the invasive dark emotions which are hard to shake are just that...invasive emotions. These are the emotions that we pick up on and open ourselves to unconciously, through compassion, empathy and unguarded awareness. They seep through the soul like oil, sliding through any pore and orriface. Just like creation and love, these too are of the Source. To deny them is to blindly acknowledge their existance and to give immense power to them. To see them for what they are, alien and not soley of our own creation creates the solace needed to move and dance WITH them rather than letting them control and reak random havoc within ourselves. The dark, the chaos is needed for change, aim the arrow and shoot wisely.
Spring hath come

There are occasions however where they will use their powers, but only in the direst of circumstances when the balance of the universe is threatened.'
When the balance is threatened they will retreat to a plane of existence where they can see each and every strand of life in the universe. They will isolate a particular strand or strands and either change that strands course, or in very rare occasions, cut the strand out of the web, which is why they need the sharp talons. Though no one has ever seen this plane, the rumors are that the pattern of life is so beautiful that if one were to gaze upon it they would lose all sense of themselves and simply cease to exist. It is for this reason that Dragons of Fate have to be very cold and objective, for only they can gaze upon this web and not be awed by its beauty.
